Just make sure they have easy access and the keeper's hut is near it.
I've hyena, pagonlin, monitors and ostriges pretty close together and have 2 keepers in total.
Can't go wrong with more though, just saying you can manage them together.
You can, but you run the risk of the bug happening.

But take a look at all the threads about my Keeper isnt doing this or that etc...
While 1 in 10 may actually be a bug the majority of them are caused bye
1 keeper standing at a break room on the other side of the park waiting to get in then walking all the way back to do his job bye the time he gets to the game he is exhausted and needs a break again and back across the park he goes because people don't build anything in this game using there brain. They think they can get away with one facility tucked into a corner of the zoo and expect everything to run and then toss there hands in the air when it doesn't!!!
Its not like making money in this game is even remotely hard once you figure out the one golden rule! Totally research 1 species of animals before moving onto the next....
