Keepers not filling food trays

My keepers will go in the habitat and clean up poop and do EVERYTHING else EXCEPT FILL THE FOOD TRAYS! Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a way around it? I just don't want to lose all my animals in my franchise because they keepers won't feed them.

Is there a keeper elsewhere in the zoo already preparing food? Only one keeper will prepare food for one enclosure at a time.

Also, check if your enrichment feeders are full - they prioritise those, so it's possible the food is in there, as it's less visible. The amount of food placed is based on the number of animals, so not all feeders will be filled depending on your habitat population.

Yeah I have another keeper but I'll add another one to see if that helps. I have to wait until the research is done before I can put down a food enrichment feeder! I just don't want my animals to die before I get the food enrichment feeder, haha. Thank you for the suggestion :)

The keepers really need work. Honestly they annoy the crap out of me. When they feed (they do feed) they feed the bare minimum, so everything will be gone immediately and not every animal can get there in time. Sometimes they dont even put the food in the feeders and throw it on the ground instead.
In my large savannah enclosure i have to manually call a feeder to feed again all the time and when that guy is cleaning the enclosure no other feeder will step in to feed even if the animals are starving. O.o Seriously

I'm having the same problem. Large Safari-type enclosure, animals are starving but all the keepers are doing are cleaning. I'm in sandbox mode and have the biggest hut possible, I only have ONE other small enclosure. They really need to make it so if you have large enclosures with multiple species more than one keeper will work on feeding them at a time.

I had same problem .... I changed the duties assigned to each keeper. There are three jobs a keeper can be assigned. They are assigned all three by default. They can be assigned to clean habitat, feed habitat, or tend exhibits. I did away with work zones for them and simply assigned feed animals to two keepers and assigned clean habitat to two more and assigned one to tend exhibits. I have not had a problem since doing that. I will try to add workzones later if they continue working as they should.
