Space (Social Behavior)

My Habitat is twice the size of the mininum and i only have 1 animal in there, but it shows theres not enough space for the animal. Bug or am i doing smth wrong ?

maybe it needs hardshelter?
maybe some areas are blocked off by bushes/trees?
are you sure you closed the entire habitat by barrier?

I have this same issue. Chimps were at 32% happiness with space. I made the habitat 60-80% bigger but the Chimps are still 32% happy with the amount of space. There habitat is larger than the hippo enclosure in the Simian Tutorial.

There is more then one space measurment for most animals...

There is Land, Water, and Climbing

Each need to be met and in order to meet these needs the ("Traversable") area inside of the pen needs to meet those needs...

How do you know if its traversable... click the Radar bottom left > click your animal > choose habitat all the area in blue is "Traversable" all the area in White is DEAD space not being used!

Thanks that did help to find the issue. Main animal tab shows an issue with "space" under Social. Checking the Social tab doesn't reveal any additional information, just there is a space issue, however, if you look under the Terrain tab it shows Chimps need a certain area AND a certain Climbable area. I didn't have enough climbable area for them.

The "Space" problem should be under "Habitat" on the animal's main tab, not "Social"
