Workshop Items Locked?

I've downloaded a few workshop blueprints to use in game, but when I go to choose one some of them have a padlock symbol on them. Just wondering why this could be?

You might not have the appropriate items researched by your mechanics for the construction.

You might need to do some research to unlock them (Mechanic research for Facilities, Vet Research for Enclosure upgrades.)

Oh also some Beta Blueprints might not have been updated as they updated some of the game assets in this case you will need to wait for the Blueprint creator to update their Blueprints.

If you aren't playing sandbox then you simply dont have the items researched that the blueprints use.

In the workshop item description you should find the research you need to unlock ... if the creator is clear with items used.

Unfortunately, many mod authors don't include research requirements in their mod descriptions.

I made a suggestion back in beta to mod authors to not include enrichment items in habitat mods. It creates a catch 22. You can't use the mod until you have done the animal research, which you can't do until you have the animal in a habitat. So, you have to build a habitat, do the animal research to unlock the habitat mod... which you don't need because you already had to build a habitat!

My Own Blueprints have locks, Not sure why i can't place again ? Made from current game so don't think research is issue with mine?

Very frustrating problem, Wish when people saved blueprints they'd remove the enrichment items first!

Same issue, I don't care about the whole research explanation this is just annoying as hell. Seeing so much wonderful design yet being unable to use them. I have literally researched all mechanic parts to full completion but still the locks are there. Also there is no option on these items to unsubscribe and remove them easily again.
