? We are agreeing friend.
The question have been answered many times though, even in their previous Planet... game. That franchise isn't about killing people.
People are getting annoyed with it because there is many threads asking for the same thing, and its been answered already.
The fact is, is that nothing is really set in stone yet. It's still in development and they may add this feature at launch as a gameplay check box or something if enough people request it. I wouldn't expect a bunch of gore or graphic violence, but at least something that let's you know a guest was injured or died in your zoo.
Of course there are also mods that may implement this gameplay mechanic in the future.
Injured though, maybe ? That I don't know. People will find work around just like they did in Planet Coaster. They found ways to drown people, but its heavely cheating the system and imagining they are drowning more than anything else.
But as you said, we'll see at release.
Yes
They missed some important features...
The problem is.. most "coverage" only report US/UK/Canadian Zoo's...
Yes, so its only natural to go with the information we all have access to.
So, let me clarify where I believe this should go.
I do not think we should implement guest dieing as we would just be implementing ton's of deaths since you can die so many ways in a zoo besides animals.
What I think they should implement is a popup or notification. "Hey! an animal escaped.. deploy containment team or like in RCT3 you can go and tranquilize the animal yourself" otherwise, the animal "can" attack guests but they cannot die.. they just become unhappy and your park's rating tanks..
reasoning for no death is simple.. this game would be changed to Mature rating by the ESRB. granted, it would be realistic but would significantly cut out a portion of consumers who cannot buy the game or won't because of the Mature rating.
Both sides of this spectrum are correct. But, we are not talking real-life. we are talking about a video game.
also, to "appease" fans.. Frontier constantly releases dev toolkits for modders.. pretty sure it can be added 3rd party if someone wanted guests to die.
But that isn't too big a deal I guess, I'll still buy the game for the park-building aspect and hopefully modders can get on it at some point.
