That's what I thought, other than handlers, because their job include going in, I cant think of a reason why guest should die in the virtual zoo if less than 0.001% of real life guest die in Zoos. If anything, its the animals dying, not the guest.

I dont care if devs implement the feature or not, Im jist saying, its probably far from their mind for good reasons.

Thanks for answering.

As I said.. it is super rare and I don't see the need to add the feature and I doubt they will. "the killing" animal's killing eachother however.. The "tiger cuddling guest" is not that many years ago, but mentally ill people "suiciding" should not really be an argument for having it ingame.....

? We are agreeing friend.

Personally I'd like to see a return of animal attacks. It is part of the sandbox and should probably never happen if you manage your zoo well (unless they have random storms every 5 minutes that bust down walls in this game), but there needs to be consequences to having lions bust out into a crowd of people.

The question have been answered many times though, even in their previous Planet... game. That franchise isn't about killing people.

People are getting annoyed with it because there is many threads asking for the same thing, and its been answered already.

Yes, but throwing insults and putting people down because they are curious about the game isn't right. Not everyone is going sift through the entire discussions of this game, so it is expected that certain questions get asked multiple times by new potential customers.

The fact is, is that nothing is really set in stone yet. It's still in development and they may add this feature at launch as a gameplay check box or something if enough people request it. I wouldn't expect a bunch of gore or graphic violence, but at least something that let's you know a guest was injured or died in your zoo.

Of course there are also mods that may implement this gameplay mechanic in the future.
I agree with you, but the no guest death is definitely set in stone. Its the same story from Planet Coaster when people ask for guest death, they said, "no, never" and they never went back. And they said it again here.

Injured though, maybe ? That I don't know. People will find work around just like they did in Planet Coaster. They found ways to drown people, but its heavely cheating the system and imagining they are drowning more than anything else.

But as you said, we'll see at release.

You are not able to let people drown in water at planet coaster...

They missed some important features...

Deaths happen in zoos rarely because of proper management. Real zoos are not run by random gamers. In my opinion an immersive experience includes bad consequences stemming from bad management. Same with flight games where planes can crash due to poor decisions, even if they very rarely crash in the real world.

People die at zoo's for various reasons (including, killed by animals) very frequently.

The problem is.. most "coverage" only report US/UK/Canadian Zoo's...

Yes, so its only natural to go with the information we all have access to.

So, let me clarify where I believe this should go.

I do not think we should implement guest dieing as we would just be implementing ton's of deaths since you can die so many ways in a zoo besides animals.

What I think they should implement is a popup or notification. "Hey! an animal escaped.. deploy containment team or like in RCT3 you can go and tranquilize the animal yourself" otherwise, the animal "can" attack guests but they cannot die.. they just become unhappy and your park's rating tanks..

reasoning for no death is simple.. this game would be changed to Mature rating by the ESRB. granted, it would be realistic but would significantly cut out a portion of consumers who cannot buy the game or won't because of the Mature rating.

Both sides of this spectrum are correct. But, we are not talking real-life. we are talking about a video game.

also, to "appease" fans.. Frontier constantly releases dev toolkits for modders.. pretty sure it can be added 3rd party if someone wanted guests to die.
? I dont care about all that man, Im just saying its only natural, for everyone, no matter what camp they are in, to go with the information we all have access to.

Well it's disappointing to hear that they can't kill guests, I always liked to build my zoos up in ZT1/ZT2 and then make an absolute hellscape of the place with everything competing with each other until all the guests were killed and only a few animals remained.

But that isn't too big a deal I guess, I'll still buy the game for the park-building aspect and hopefully modders can get on it at some point.
