List of Confirmed Animals in Planet Zoo

[Scanova the Carnotaurus]

Figured I might as well give a treat to those who aren't completely caught up and are also one of the few actually here before launch. It also gives me something else to do. Here are all the animals confirmed for Planet Zoo so far. I will be keeping this updated with more species as we get more news. Keep in mind that while there is confirmation of various groups or types of animals, animals that are species-specified will only be listed here.

NOTE - THIS IS NOT THE FULL LIST IN PLANET ZOO! THIS IS ONLY THE ONES KNOWN SO FAR. Can't believe I actually have to say this. Seems obvious, but I guess people are dense to read for more than 10 seconds.

I'm pretty sure that Japanese Macaque is also there. In a live stream by planet zoo community managers with @silvarret, silv was saying that he could not use his japanese tea house in any habitat then Bo(community manager) says he could use it in Japanese Macaque habitat.

There are steam effect items you can place down, I saw a Youtuber put them in water and it made it looks like hot springs! I think it was Bestinslot who did it. Looks amazing!

That is very unlikely. Australian animals will most likely be DLC and the Koala would be a normal exhibit animal

Koalas are a bit too big to be an exhibit animal. Kangaroos are a most likely in the base game.

Side note: If you recalled, the Zoo tycoon series didn't have a lot of Aussie animals.

If Koalas end up being exhibit animals when they come (if they come) a little piece of my heart will be dead. They're SO cute!

As for Australian animals, as long as we get Kangaroos, koalas, and dingos and wombats I'll be happy. Though the Platypus, Wallaby and Numbat would be welcome additions as well.

Alright yall, they have confirmed that they are essentially done showing off new content before launch, so these are all the species we're going to know about until launch day! Hope yall found this useful, as I highly doubt there will be anything new to add to this list before launch arrives.
