If all conditions are right in their habitats and the animals are happy and not on contraceptives there is a chance that they will get babies.
Also there is no pregnancy animations either.
Maybe it won't be that way though, maybe the two animals will disappear into a shelter and there will be a pregnancy period, at which point when it's over the female animal disappears into the shelter again and a little while later both female and offspring(s) appear - that would be infinitely better and less immersion breaking to me.
Can you imagine the resources it would take at this stage to develop a new skin for each animal already in the game?

Because most people understand that striving for realism doesn’t mean 100% absolute true to life.
That's why I'm saying that pregnant animals should just "hide" until they give birth. That way they can excuse themselves about not making new models for pregnant animals or making a proper birth animation.
