Can I play on Mac?
Hi there! I want to buy the deluxe version but I'm not sure if I can play on a Mac. Will this be for Mac too?

It's a Windows OS exclusive game.

There are ways to run any Windows game on Mac. I'm no expert on this but there are definitely ways!

It might be possible to run Planet Zoo on a Mac using Windows on a BootCamp setup. However, please be aware that Mac is not officially supported.

Hi Joël, I realize it is pure conjecture at this point... But do you think a mac would be able to run the game with any kind of success through bootcamp?

I'm not sure if bootcamp works, but I know for a fact if you have it set up to dual boot with a partitioned hard drive, the game will run on Mac hardware running windows software. At that point, if you boot directly into Windows, you're effectively using a windows machine.

I don't really have a way of testing out running bootcamp at the moment. But if your comfortable setting up a partitioned drive and all of that, you will be just fine.

Sources, it's how I play almost all of my games.

It'd depend on what your mac specs are compared to the system requirements, since even if you manage to run windows through bootcamp it might or might not be powerful enough to play the game.

I have seen reports from players who are able to play Planet Coaster on a Mac using Bootcamp. The same might be possible for Planet Zoo; use Bootcamp on a Mac.

However, please be aware that this method is not officially supported.

I really don't know why people buy mac computers. Then they complain that they can't play Windows games.:steamfacepalm:

No one is complaining about their Macs guys 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyways, did you try booting it in Winebottler? I usually do that on Windows exclusive games.

Here's something that can help you out:
