Currency with the Leaves needs to Change !
Hello, i don't know what's with the currency with the Leaves ingame. But i find it not good implemented.
For example to Start a new Game on Franchise you need to Spend 100 of those. What if u messed up 4 New Zoos you can't play the Game anymore only in Campain mode.

I think a Game you bought 55Euros you need to have all the Game features and not have the main featurte removed for a Day because of lag of money.

Also the most animals are only awailable for the currency which is also a bad thing. How build a Zoo if you can only buy 6 different Animals ?

This are the bad things i don't like about the game or am i missing something ?

I am someone who thinks they need to change the conservation credit system but I'll address some of your concerns.

Firstly, the cosnservation credits carry across all the zoos of a single franchise. You can delete your franchise and start from scratch. When you do, you'll start over with the 100 conservation credits again in your first zoo.

Secondly, you can make conservation credits by breeding and releasing animals into the wild so it's not set in stone at 100.

You also get more credits each day you get on franchise.

You get 100 free credits daily by logging into your zoo via the franchise tab. You can also buy animals for cash.

If you mess up your zoo, go into franchise and close it, you should get a bunch of credits back for your animals and some animals will be put into trading to start your new zoo.

I had that, actually spend all on my first zoo, messed up and deleted the Zoo.
No animals or whatsoever :(

So i managed to buy a few crappy wilddogs for actual cash, made them breed, sell cheap and keep repeating.
So there is a way to keep goin ;)

I like the system.. You get cash easily. To have a second currency makes the whole game much more challenging and adds a nice management-aspect to it. If you really don't like that, you can still play the offline-mode, which should make things easier, or the sandbox in the final version.

You can always restart Franchise mode if you really screw up - complete wipe, and you get the initial CC back.

I think they need to change the conservation points trade system. Just add a fixed price for normal, bronze, silver and golden animals. Different for each animalspecies afcourse, but whitin the species a fixed price for qualilty. The trade is getting out of hand with this free price market.
once you buy a zoo, you can restart as many times as you want. the animals carry over too! just go to "animal trading" and open the "animal trade center" tab. it will show you the market animals you have already purchased.

There will be a Offline Franchies mode when the game releases where the animala and prices are generated by the computer and not set by the players. This mode would be what you are looking for.

This would be the perfekt mix. =)
I am Glad that ingame isn't an ingame shop where you can buy for ex. 1000 Leaves for 5 Euros that would be worst case possible ^^.
You can buy animals with money and sell the offspring for leaves if you run out.

More importantly, I don't really like the system as such, but after 52 hours of playtime I consider it a necessary evil. You really, really need to start slow. And the leaves enforce that. If you pause the game at the start and build 3 enclosures with 5 animals, you're more than likely going to end up bankrupt. The leaves help with pacing. By the time my Franchise was about 30 hours old, I had over 20,000 leaves. And you only need enough for a dame and sire of a new species, then you let them breed. Leaves become trivial.

“If," ["the management consultant"] said tersely, “we could for a moment move on to the subject of fiscal policy. . .”
“Fiscal policy!" whooped Ford Prefect. “Fiscal policy!"
The management consultant gave him a look that only a lungfish could have copied.
“Fiscal policy. . .” he repeated, “that is what I said.”
“How can you have money,” demanded Ford, “if none of you actually produces anything? It doesn't grow on trees you know.”
“If you would allow me to continue.. .”
Ford nodded dejectedly.
“Thank you. Since we decided a few weeks ago to adopt the leaf as legal tender, we have, of course, all become immensely rich.”
Ford stared in disbelief at the crowd who were murmuring appreciatively at this and greedily fingering the wads of leaves with which their track suits were stuffed.
“But we have also,” continued the management consultant, “run into a small inflation problem on account of the high level of leaf availability, which means that, I gather, the current going rate has something like three deciduous forests buying one ship’s peanut."
Murmurs of alarm came from the crowd. The management consultant waved them down.
“So in order to obviate this problem,” he continued, “and effectively revalue the leaf, we are about to embark on a massive defoliation campaign, and. . .er, burn down all the forests. I think you'll all agree that's a sensible move under the circumstances."
The crowd seemed a little uncertain about this for a second or two until someone pointed out how much this would increase the value of the leaves in their pockets whereupon they let out whoops of delight and gave the management consultant a standing ovation. The accountants among them looked forward to a profitable autumn aloft and it got an appreciative round from the crowd.”

Remember it's simulating real life zoos. You can't just go up to another zoo and say "hey I just built my first enclosure, can I have some endangered species?" You have to work your way up by breeding, trading and releasing animals back into the wild. As your reputation goes up or in this case credits, you'll be able to take on more challenging species and play a major part in the endangered species breeding program.

Keep using the filters and check often for cheap animals. Use those cheap ones to breed some animals to sell or release then with those new points you've earned you can invest into another species.

That's why there'll be a sandbox mode with unlimited points and an offline franchise mode only with cash , if you don't like online franchise mode you don't need to play it. Breeding and selling/Releasing animals can also give you thousands of conservations points

You get 100 per day, I believe. Which is enough to start a zoo. I was afraid of getting locked out by making big mistakes too, but it seems they thought of that. :)
