Adoption failed

Can`t adopt any animals, always getting adoption failed msg...

Could be someoen beat you to adpoting that animal. Try again.

The market is not updated every second so ones you are looking at could be bought beofre you and not available.

So second day and still same issue... Started new zoo and same... Game indicates that I`m online, so I rule out internet connection... Either devs will come up and support or a refund it is...

Just because you see an animal on the market doesn't mean someone else isn't also seeing and adopting it. If it's a good deal (high rating, cheap), then you have to move on it fairly quickly or someone else will jump on it before you and the adoption will fail. I get scooped fairly often, but there are so many animals that I can nearly always find something almost as good if I keep looking.

I have tried every single animal one by one and same error every time, so it`s not availability related. It`s more likely like they don`t recognise me as being online even game indicates that I am online. Maybe it`s steam client issue... I don`t know but want support and be able to play the game as I have paid £43 for it... It`s a lot of money for me...

I spent quite a bit of time stuck like this. It's definitely annoying. It did eventually work for me and I have to assume you need a reasonably good internet connection. Mines not the best so when its lagging slightly the adoption option becomes a no go for me.

Update...

So I can adopt exibition (reptiles, insects) animals without any issues what so ever, but big animals doesn`t work...

Even tied different internet sources and wired connection, but no luck to adopt even one animal...

Yeah that has happened to me on and off. Especially if I'm playing during peak times. If an animal is priced well it usually moves quick and that's just part of the game. Frustrating, but how it works.

The full release of the game will have other modes that aren't tied to the online market of animals the way the Franchise Mode is.

If you do think it's a bug, be sure and report it on the official site (details in the pinned post) so that it can be looked into.

If I could only somehow register an account or login through steam as all gets ignored... It`s like their servers ignoring me lol

it keeps failing on all animals, but if animal get adopted by someone else or gets off market, so I get msg that it`s not available anymore.

I`m 100% sure it`s a bug of some sorts regarding connection to their servers. I`ll try to re-install the game, but this gonna be my last try and refund if not working again.

Maybe a stupid question, but before we spin around here:
You have already seen if you can pay for the animals? The Vivarium animals can all be bought for money, but most of them cost conservation points at the Animal market.
If you can't pay, you'll get an error message.

You get 300 points at the start regardless and I as I have told I have tried every single animal clicking 5 times on each starting from 1pt cost up to 300pts plus all cash only... As mentioned if any animal get unavailable during clicking I get msg saying it unavailable anymore.
