I decided to just let the zoo run and do research in the mean time as the zoo was still profitable and I couldn't do anything even if I had taken out some loans. For a while the balance slowly went up; very very slowly I might add I had maybe earned 100k of which still left me in a deep deposite of course; only to then see the balance drop to -600.000.000.000
Has anyone had this happen before and what can one do to prevent it? Are there any money cheats at all in the game to at least save all the work I already did on the zoo?
maybe u will reach the + again if u wait ?
but y, i think otherwise u have to start new
I 've bought the starter buildings, like vets, research, etc etc 7? of them.
and i have added a toilet, food stall and drinks stall with 2 ATM and 4 donation bins.
My entry fees are £6 and £4
but I'm bleeding money, any tips?
You can put all your animals into the trade center and start a new zoo. It sucks as you won't have money to make all the enclosures at first, but at least you won't lose the hard to find ones. And they can wait in the trade center without losing welfare or aging til you're ready for them.
1 each of vet, mechanic, keeper, caretaker and security
1 each of the buildings
Put up an education board near the enclosure with info on the animal
Dono bin next to that.

^^^^Layout I am using in my new zoo to keep the staff centralized and most efficient...
Tip 1- Don't make Habitat barriers with ingame Barriers use Logs or Rocks or anything else as your mechanic doesn't need to fix these, that way Mechanic is only fixing water and power!!!
Tip 2- Don't put speakers and signs within reach of the humans put them inside of the enclosure near to the viewing area out of arms reach so no vandalism occurs! No need for Security Guard and less for your Mechanic to do so he is fixing water and power only....
Tip 3- Don't build the Drink shop till you get 300+ Guests
Food shop till 500+ guests
Balloon Shop till 800 + Guests
Info stand till 1000+ Guests
Tip 4- Vets, Mechanics, Keepers start with a salary of 1100, but they are perfectly happy with that salary being 1050.
Tip 5- Get atleast 2 Research's done on the animal in your Habitat before building a new one!
Tip 6 Place a Power and Water plant out in the begining while paused before starting your zoo then build a Raised Walkway all the way around the edge of the Power forming a huge circle... Then divide that area up into 4-6 enclosures.... Of course put your other staff buildings there and you will have a very central and efficient set up for your zoo to start off of....
Sooo a little frustrated but it is a beta, and I would have had to rebuild completely anyway when full game is released hahah.
Has anyone else had this happen?
