There's a whole list of things that can get you credits but breeding is probably the main one.
And if that still worries you, just play the offline Franchise zoo?
Next thing is. To open up a Franchise Zoo you have to buy with your leaves (100)
What when i run out of leaves?
If you run out of leaves you keep playing the Zoo you have till you acquire more I imagine. Or worst case if that fails entirely you start over?
The idea of a franchise is that you have multiple zoo's eventually. After the first there's no risk of running out leaves is there? Since you'd still have other zoo's where you can get them. Not to mention the daily login was 100 wasn't it? That's one Zoo a day xD
It's meant to be kind of a challenge but I've got over 20000 credits now so it doesn't feel as difficult now but it was at the start.
That is the trick isn't it. That is figuring out how to jump start acquiring the conservation credits. Once you get it going things become much easier and you can pile the credits up quickly.
But i honestly dont get how people struggle so much to get leaves.
I got around 6k of them now.
Started breeding with Hippo's and they sold for 2-300 leaves.
With those leaves i started breeding programs for other animals.
I wish I could make that many credits, but I cant afford anything but peacocks and selling them for 1 credit at a time isnt helping.
I was having this same issue. After reading a bit, someone said get some bears. They breed a decent amount of cubs, are on the lower range, and sell for a semi-decent amount. Haven't had the time yet to try it (as I broke and crashed my zoo last night and have not gone back), but this may be the route to start off of especially with the lion event going on. I would think other animals would drop in price while everyone else fights over lions.
From the Devs:
Conservation Credits are not for sale, we absolutely do not have pay-to-win mechanics in Planet Zoo! You buy the game once. As the Developer Journal specifies, you can earn Conservation Credits through undertaking certain objectives, completing community challenges, releasing animals to the wild, and trading in the Animal Market.
