Keepers letting animals starve
My Galapagos Turtle enclosure had been working fine, but I got a notification that they were starving. I called over a keeper, and he went inside the enclosure, looked around to inspect, but didn't bring them food. Instead he went into my Timber Wolf enclosure and started cleaning up poop. I called a few keepers, even hired new ones & they all did the same thing. Hoping this is just a beta issue because I love this game so far

Just solved my food issues with same species (tortoise and wolves). Even doubled the food trays for the wolves (she had 8 pups) and keeper came in and filled almost immediately. I have zones that include the keeper huts.

Do you have an operatoinal keeper hut?

Yeah my keepers are lazy as well. Need food and they just wander off after coming to the enclosure.

I have 2 in mine and neither of my keepers would feed my animals. One nearly starved to death before a keeper brought food

Make sure that the keepers have a keeper hut included in their work zone. If they do and they still aren't feeding, remove your enrichment feeders. There seems to be a bug that prioritizes the enrichment feeders over the actual food dishes. Good luck!

Keep in mind that multiple enclosures can share one hut, they just have to all be included in the same work zone. Every work zone with an enclosure needs at least one keeper hut for the animals to get fed. Also, just as an added precaution, make sure your keepers can physically reach the feeder.

Here, made a post that might shed some light. This is based purely on observations, but if accurate, these insights might provide a workaround.

Mine are doing that as well. I just sat and watched three peafowl die because the keepers wouldn't fill any feeders or food bowls even after hitting the Call Keeper button like ten times. Hope they fix this soon...

same issue it seems at the moment the turtles are bugged. i got rid of mine and closed the game, i came back to 8 turtles none of which i can release or trade. so far the turtles are the only animal i have had any major issues with.

If you have any enrichment food items, get rid of them. For what ever reason if you have any in an encloser no one gets feed. also the baby turtles just like to starve them selves :steamfacepalm:
