Placing zoo keeper huts

In tutorial mode I cant place the zookeepers hut.....it says invalid rotation or out of placement area......I tried everything.....never been so frustrated playing a game in my life.....I also find annoying that the staff arent already in the shop when you place them,,,,u have to hire staff after putting the shops in which is just a waste of time in an already frustrating game

Are you placing the hut in the designed area? Took me a minute to release it wouldn't let me put it down just anywhere. There's a glowing square for you to do so.

Are you also rotating the hut so the door faces the preexisting path? As the path will want to automatically connect?

yeh kept it in the box ,,,,even when the path connected it said invalid rotation

I am having the same issue in this tutorial, the angle that that is provided to place the hut doesn't align with the box that the tutorial gives you to put it in. No amount of rotation using Z and trying to use this ridiculous advanced mode will align it straight on for placement

press and hold z to turn it slowly, tapping z just causes it to snap in a direction. It needs to be nearly centered too or it will not place.
