Concern about terrarium creatures
So sorry, I'm new to discussions and goofed up. First, I can't wait till Tuesday. Second, I've researched all of the confirmed animals, etc., and learned a few things about the terrarium creatures that don't seem to match with the concern you have with animals" well-being and good habitats. Specifically, the Goliath Frog -- its natural habitat is fast-flowing rivers and streams, flanked by dense rainforest. AND the frog's eggs are attached to vegetation at the bottom of the river or stream. AND as the tadpotes become "larvae" they feed exclusively on one species of aquatic plant , with grows on rocks BY WATERFALLS AND RAPIDS. My other concerns have mainly to do with the size of the terrariums. Both the Green Iguana and Lesser Antillean Iguana spend most of their time in the forest canopy (over 40 ft. high), descending only to mate, lay eggs, or change trees.. Will the terrariums hold large tall trees? Finally, another question: will the terrarium creatures grow? Particularly the snakes -- boa constrictors and yellow anacondas get HUGE (between 6 to 10 meters). Will there be larger terrariums, or can the snakes and iguanas be moved to another display? Believe me, I'm not trying to pour cold-water on your wonderful game. Thanks.

I don't know this for sure, but boas, anacondas, that sort of thing COULD very well be enclosure animals, as big as they can get. Otherwise I'm afraid I can't answer these for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if some liberties are taken to reduce the visual team's workload, but I would be equally unsurprised if terrariums are either numerous in type or even customizable.

Terrariums won't be able to hold large tall trees - only small stumps and logs. It's not quite clear,if the terrarium animals will grow like the exhibit animals, but i doubt it cause of the limited terrarium space. You can't get these animals out.
Terrarium animals are not the main focus of the game, that's why they are mostly like statues and don't move. They will only change positions after you zoom out and come back to them after a few minutes.

Yellow anacondas don't get that big, you're thinking of green anacondas. Boa Constrictor doesn't get that large either. Neither of them are huge snakes, large but not huge. Yellow anaconda are about 10ft to 15 ft and boas are around 10 to 14ft. Females are larger than males.
Green iguana are commonly kept in captivity and do well. They do not need 40ft trees to be healthy.
That said it's a game and I'm sure not everything is going to be 100% accurate. Enjoy it for what it is.

Thank you for your replies. I'm sure all of you are right in your suggestions. I guess I'm more of a realist. I see so much detail in the animals looks and behaviors that they truly do match the wild animals. I just want the whole game to be as real as these animals are. It's hard for me to see the zookeepers and poop cleaners walk into a carnivores exhibit because that is something cannot be done in a real zoo. I'm going to have to get used to this being a game that's somewhat like the real thing. Again, thanks for your insights.

Well, it's also unrealistic that a keeper could carry an elephant around in a wooden box :P
After all it's just a game. It's more about the animals itself and to learn a few things about them...
In real life there are actually keepers that go into the lion habitats and play with the lions, because they know them since they were born... Of course, if you would do that with a new keeper and wild lions, that wouldn't turn out that well...
Just imagine all the keepers were there forever and they all know the animals very well :D

Nonsense! My keeper, Clark, does this with no problem at all. He can even carry one in each hand!
