No audio at all. As of 2.3?

I haven't booted the game in a long time, but never experienced this issue on previous playing. I feel like I'm missing something obvious. There's no audio. No music or sound. Other steam games are just fine, other apps on PC, fine. Only VVVVVV is silent. and I tried pressing N and M. Umm, is it just me? Help plz

This is a weird bug and I am literally not sure what could cause it.

There's still not much information to go off of.

If anyone with this issue could report all of their system details and try running the game from the terminal with -debug to get as many logs as possible (and also any potentially relevant logs from their audio subsystem), that would be very helpful.
