I am trying to play Microsoft Flight Simulator X, but every time I try running it, it gives me an error that says "Steam must be running to play. Steam initialisation failed." Has anyone else received this error? How do you get around it? Thanks! :)

Hello, Randomly a lot of the games weather stations have simply vanished, meaning i cant configure custom weather in certain sections of flights i do, almost all stations in the US and western hemisphere are just gone and idk what to do, any ideas?

It has been a few years since I messed with this sim but I was wondering if anyone worked out how to get rid of the sheets of water that seem to be on some of the ground textures. (I have the ORBX sceneries installed). I get this water on the ground and up hills and mountains. A bit disconcerting....

Hi there, essentially "out of blue" FSX SE does not start as usual. Reinstalled twice through Steam, the same. Admin type start does not help. The opening picture of FSX appears but then nothing. Steam checked data integrity: no issue, so probably something between FSX and Windows? Any idea or experience, please?...

I have an issue with the top bar ... When I press left ALT key it appears ok... I press the left ALT key for 3 seconds anf it doen't disapear! How can be fixed ?
