Can Winter be turned off?? Its very boring..............

My defenses cant be broken, I am just sitting here at my castle alt tabbed watching youtube video's waiting for it to end... Everything else about the game is great! Winter is just awful and boring.

Winter doesn't mean the game has to stop.

You can still do all the usual things like take down portals, build the bombs and attack the cave to try to clear the island. You can still build the boat, recruit more vagrants, stack your coffers, build your army, send farmers to gather berries, extend your kingdom, fight a boar, pikemen can still fish. You just can't farm for money.

I personally enjoy the challenge of surviving winter and it's always such a relief to see the water thawing at the farms when Spring rolls around.

Are you not hiring pikemen or ninjas to fish for you? Both units make great defenders and generate a lot of gold. During winter season, I go back to already built up islands to clear the Greed cave since you can't start a new island with no hunting or farming.

Im just waiting for winter to start. its xxxviii and nothing yet. not wanting to move on and find myself in a new place with no income due to my luck. What day does it start or is it rng? Feels like it happened really fast before.

Lately it's just 16 days per season, it used to have a few days RNG in the past.

I love the winter time!!! I usually take that as an opportunity to hire more recruits, gather coinage from the farmers for berry picking, and keeping my Kingdom safe! Winter actually seems shorter than the rest but maybe because I don't treat it any differently from other seasons. When you survive that winter blood moon and see the thaw of Spring and the workers doing what they did before snow fall, it's quite wonderful!
