I think I could support Genuis DLCs, as long as they aren't overpriced.
What would Alexis be? Isn't she just a spoiled rich girl? Wouldn't that be just another Max?
What would her unique play style be or her campaign be focussed on?
Alexis: A beautiful heiress to a media empire with a beloved presence the world over, allowing her to command the utmost respect and loyalty from those who serve under her. Inheriting a multi-million dollar fortune and media empire from her late father, her hard work and piercing intelligence allows her business to prosper under her shrewd leadership. But years of being daddy's princess gave her a colossal ego and a constant need for adoration. Seeking a wider audience, she soon became America's darling, and eventually wanted more: more wealth, more adulation, more power. Alexis wanted the entire world. Starts with Eli Barracuda.
I saw Eli Barracuda also made a reappearance would be really cool if they bring Alexis back as a playable main genius and let us have Eli Barracuda as are side kick he was awesome!
Any ways for this game they could add same thing she offered in first game Minion loyality was the main but they can offer cause of her media empire alos that she has a much higher reduced chance to draw unwantted attention to her lair or ability to use her media empire to draw attention away from her resort.
She also had the coolest way to excuse enamys or her minions that where disloyal
Alexis executes her minions by igniting them with her cigarette, causing the minion to burst into flames, and boosts nearby minions' stats by 10; the highest of the three Evil Geniuses.
they got to bring her back! =(
I love the hell out of Alexis and play her more than any other villain, but please stop confusing nostalgia with character depth.
Granted it is kind of the point that the EGs are cliched stereotypes. The entire game is. That's part of the charm and hilarity, which comes from the parody of those things. Still, Alexis's slow loyalty decay was a nice feature to have, plus her enlarged radius for her minion boost. I did play her a few times (although I favored Max for his industrialism and his non-functional research boost discount, ha), and she certainly had a fun style to her. I like to think that she played the villainess in a lot of films, which made it more confusing for the agents of justice who weren't sure if she was just playing the part of a villain or actually being one this time.
Still, bringing Alexis back leverages on the big plot point of EG 2... Who took over the world? It was obviously one of the EGs from 1, but not Max, who's returning for his second shot. It's still unclear whether it was Alexis or Shen Yu, but the point is that whoever it was ended up 'leaving' and left the world free again. (At least I think that's the plot). For obvious reasons they're keeping that particular card (the identity of the EG who did successfully take the world over) very close to their chest, but I'm sure it will be one of the first things discussed once the game releases and we get to find out.
So the big deal here is, It was either Shen Yu or Alexis that succeeded in our sequel. Whichever one it was probably WON'T be making a return because they obviously got bored with the world and abandoned it, which is how we get to the point of trying to take over now in the sequel. Or maybe they got assassinated? Who knows. We'll find out on release. The point is, for both of the parties that want Alexis and Shen Yu back, respectively, It's very unlikely one of them will return. Which one? I don't know. I have to admit I'm VERY Curious to find out which one succeeded, if only to learn which of the endings of EG1 is considered the canon one.
