Woo-hoo. After popular demand (I think like one person) I've decided to bring this back. Send me an SCP, and I will rate it out of ten, despite having no skill at writing or judging writing.

One at a time, since SCPs can be quite long and I prefer to spend my time doing other things as well. As well as giving the rating I will also try and briefly explain what I liked or didn't like about it.

and i imagine the bones are their money, too

eh. find it kinda... bland. there's some cool concepts in there. the mention of bacteria coming back to life does raise the question of why stepping inside doesn't lead to, you know, all the bacteria that are dying throughout your body constantly coming back to life. it's not necessarily bad as a concept, it just needs... ironically, more meat on the bone. 5/10

i am making the executive decision to not read the entire extended test logs thanks

i like the initial scp actually. it's a fun idea. but yeah the extended test logs are very long (i understand it's because of other people adding things, but still) and a lot of them feel very... self-indulgent feels like the best way to put it. also from my skimming through them the amount of times the foundation goes 'oh no we might've given the three moons [insert thing here]!!!!' you maybe should just. stop testing with it????? 6/10

i think you could do well with the actual concept of it. but it's not done well here. it's not character assassination, more... randomly bludgeoning characters to death as they walk into an alleyway. like i say if written better the concept could definitely be fun, but the way it is it leads more to an eyeroll and a groan than anything. 3/10

Good grief, I'm not even going to bother with this one. The last one was already so pedantically long enough that I was too fed up to even care. Now this one has two ruddy offsets. My apologies, but I genuinely don't care anymore about this arduous canon. The worst part is, this is the supposed gold standard in terms of SCP writing. Ignore a worthwhile description to keep me invested, make it vague instead, only for me to inevitably finish the work and think it a moot anomaly. Just write a tale instead about a dull concept. My good sir, the concept should come first. If you want to write a tale, write a tale.

...

I'm never any fun, am I? I should continue writing instead and have my work be chastised by an incessantly whining figure as well.

...

Here's a shorter one instead.

i'm sorry but. i have been reading all day for college stuff. and my brain is already normally not happy with that, but i think after spending hours staring at words on a white screen my brain is going to go on strike if i try this one. and i don't know how that's going to work, and i'm not sure about testing it. put it as a 'will read later if i remember'.

this got completely buried in my notifications i apologise

i think the biggest issue i have personally with it is that the first section feels... disconnected. i get how the themes run across, but tonally it feels completely different. i get what they were going for, sure, i just think it doesn't work as well as it could. i also think that the initial scp, especially the namedrops of musk and bezos, feel kinda... self-indulgent. look i hate musk and bezos just like anyone who isn't one of their megafans, but it takes me out of the story a bit.

anyway i did actually like the later bits and especially the formatting i just feel it's been dragged down a lot. so i'd say a 5/10

i hate the obsession with making the d in d-class stand for disposable because that's not the point!!!! there was a whole lettered system of classes but everyone forgot all of them except d!!!!!!

it's an interesting concept, and the execution is alright. my main issue is that the actual anomaly feels... incredibly generic. like, i fully understand that the point of it is more the metaphorical elements. but they could've at least played around with the effects on the colonist bastards a bit more rather than just. the bog standard hallucinations and nightmares. 6/10
SCP-7256[scp-wiki.wikidot.com]

This takes the SCP format to a whole new direction. Revolutionary stuff, really.

Now for a more serious submission...

SCP-3001[scp-wiki.wikidot.com]. Surprised when I checked that this particular skip only got a mention and not a full review. Also I just realized this is the 900th message. Nice!
