Woo-hoo. After popular demand (I think like one person) I've decided to bring this back. Send me an SCP, and I will rate it out of ten, despite having no skill at writing or judging writing.

One at a time, since SCPs can be quite long and I prefer to spend my time doing other things as well. As well as giving the rating I will also try and briefly explain what I liked or didn't like about it.

always good to see an article starting with a content warning list like that

it's not often that an scp manages to actually freak me out but this one did. might just be because i'm very tired rn, but the combination of the writing and the... frankly rather dread-inducing images worked really well on me. the concept itself isn't the most creative thing in the world (although using 2006 was definitely a good idea), but i think the actual contents of the article pull it through. 9/10 honestly was meant to freak me out and did

certainly showing its age. the weird ♥♥♥♥♥♥ elements seem... forced, and i can't figure out any deeper meaning to it. i think the visuals of the way the apparition moves are fairly interesting, i can imagine it being pretty scary. i think like a 4/10

this one's awesome. it's a neat concept, told well, i really really like the art work actually. does mystery well too. i think ending it with just the images is really effective. tells you enough to keep you interested while still leaving you to fill in enough blanks. 10/10 honestly i really like it

i don't recognise it so i don't think so!

i think it's neat. it's a concept i really like, the execution itself is pretty eh but overall it's not bad. i really like how it uses different GOIs, it makes the whole situation feel a lot more fleshed out. apologies not much to say 7/10

7975: i was so excited for an scp about little frogs and then it was a humanoid frog.

at first this caught my attention. and then it made me chuckle a bit in the middle. and then i started to dislike it. i'm not sure how best to describe this in a way that seems respectful, so i'll just describe it the first way that comes to mind. it's obnoxious. feels like the scp version of one of those adult cartoons who's only joke is that it is a cartoon for adults, right? i can understand the appeal. i think. but it's just not the style of humour that i vibe with. also that interview log was really really not my thing. dr. reginald is annoying, and seems to just jump to the wildest conclusions. maybe that was the point of his character, but if so, the joke just didn't work for me.

also why the ♥♥♥♥ would a foundation article decide to have a footnote that leads to a youtube video with 4.7k views about bigfoot. why? i'm going with like a 3/10 for this, but like i said i guess i can understand an appeal. i think.
