SCP-049 (and 049-2) needs a rework
049 is the only SCP in the game that can actively be denied its playstyle by its own teammates. The zombies can be completely useless if they want to be (or worse, disconnect) and I think that is the main design flaw behind the SCP in general. I am sure that this has all happened to us before at least once or twice when playing the SCP and it totally kills the fun of playing it when it happens. I don't know how else you would solve this issue other than to rework how the zombies function entirely or simply make them more fun to play as, but that solution could be risky because you don't want instances of 049-2 to be overpowered. I think that turning them into AI controlled companions that you can give commands to would be interesting and unique. To keep their scouting utility maybe they could have a similar gfx to when 049 is using The Doctor's Call when they have a human within their line of sight, and would automatically aggro living beings on sight if the doctor wasn't nearby to give them more direct commands. I could see using RMB and the inventory button to make this a possibility

All in all, in my opinion when I spawn in a round as an SCP I should ideally be excited to play whichever one I get, but every time I get doctor I find myself groaning because I don't know if the round is going to get botched or not. It's similar to how I used to feel about 106 before the Femur Breaker was removed. What do you guys think? Do you think 049 and 049-2 need a rework or do you like them how they are? If you agree with me, what would your ideas be for the rework?

your aware that coding pathing for things for every possible layout would be alot of work let alone tanking the games preformance due to the AI trying to figure out where to go and what to do

A rework for the model and whatever else NW would love to change about them. I could see NW making a really good rework for 049 if they put themselves to it. But they are busy doing other things right now. I don't think they would mind a good suggestion about 049 though!

106 needs a pocket dimension rework and model, animation, upkeep to stay fresh along with the rest of the SCPs. Maybe also a gameplay change if NW thought of something while redoing his PD.

and what does that have to do with my suggestion? I wouldn't ask things that I didn't think the dev team was capable of. Also I don't think pathing has to work the way you think it does

+1 its fun for everyone, humans get a zombie to kill. 049 gets a zombie, and the guy who died doesnt need to play zombie if he doesnt want to

I'm glad someone likes the idea! I'm sure it would take some work to implement right but given what northwood has done so far I believe they can find a solution to this

I agree, 106's pocket dimension is also something I'd like to see changed. I definitely don't expect to see something like this done anytime soon since I'm sure it'd be quite the undertaking, especially if they do need to rework his model as well, but I'm happy that NW is open to ideas :)
