Imo I think it could be made a little bit more unique, but you're deffo on the right track to creating a good SCP proposal. The artical states that he can move on both horizontal and vertical surfaces, maybe you could do something with that?
+1 though, I love my bovine heart boi
Personally, if you're aiming for them to be a tank their stats are far too restrained. 2700 HP and 400 Hume is only slightly above 106, who's survivability is almost exclusively tied to his ability to regenerate Hume on-demand and invulnerability. Especially with a mere 4.4 m/s and (presumably) a large hitbox, it would be very difficult to stay alive with your only mobility option being on the longest cooldown in the game aside from 079's Zonewide Blackout.
My suggestions:
- 2500 HP, 400 Hume, scaling up to 800 at 20% HP
- Has passive damage resistance similar to 049 and 173 - 058 takes 15% less damage from firearms and 60% less damage from explosions, such as grenades.
- By default, it moves at 4.4 m/s, but moving forward causes it to accelerate over 2 seconds, increasing to 5.0 m/s until it stops moving forward.
- The tentacle swipe deals 40 damage in a wide arc and applies the Concussed status effect, disorienting targets. This would make 058 ideal for taking on large groups of military classes and create openings for its teammates to charge in.
- Two abilities - Tentacle Whip and Stinger.
- Tentacle Whip causes 058 to lash out a tentacle in a straight line, up to 20 meters in length or until it hits a wall. If it hits a wall, 058 will be pulled towards it and retain the momentum, allowing it to climb vertically (such as the area around the Warhead room on the Surface, or PT00 in Light Containment). This ability should be on a 30-40 second cooldown.
- Stinger is a toggle-able ability with only a short 5 second cooldown. When active, 058's primary attack is replaced with their stinger, becoming single target and having a shorter range, but applying a poison effect that will kill them in 5 seconds if they do not use any healing item.
+10
The SCPs are powerful enough as is, and that includes humans on SCP items, since that's the only way to survive as a human in SL, is to become an SCP yourself, making it way less fun for anyone who wasn't lucky enough to get coca cola
Just because something will doesn't mean it has to.
You're biased and 99.99% of your balance changes ever posed reflect that "muh muh buff 049-2 for no reason". SCPs can win any fight if they just stick together, it's not that hard. Just because you don't know what to do doesn't mean there's nothing to do. But your favorite character to play as is the most broken one, so everything is just going in one ear and out the other.
SCPs are way too easy to win with and lack engaging gameplay because of that. There's no struggle, no thought, no risk, and no reward.
Great job at not saying anything related to my comment though!
