[SUGGESTION] Unique 682 Design (non playable)
Read before voting but here is the poll: https://www.strawpoll.me/15905382

Devs, before you reply "682 is on the blacklist", this isn't saying for him to be playable, read the rest it could be interesting. And also, before players whine "BuT 682 Is SupEr Op And OmG He WoulD KilL EverYoNE ReEee" or "Non playable? are you autistic!! I wAnT To EaT Kids" hear me out. Now with that unprofessionalism over with here is the suggestion.

Sucks I'm not 18 cause I would have applied for your brainstormer position but eh, what can you do. Anyways, here is the basic rundown on what would be needed and how it would work.

---------Models Needed------------------
-682 (duh)
-Crates (military, wood, storage, etc)
-Pallets (to hold the crates!)
-Military stuff (corpses, weapon caches, ammo caches, etc)
-dead guard (corpse, as said above)
-New floor lmao

----------------New Floor-------------------

--Floor: A new storage tunnel floor that has multiple small elevators leading into heavy, so heavy to new level pretty much, or a large airlock at the bottom of that giant pit in heavy, and make the floor change while the airlock cycles!

--Textures: grimy, rusty, heavy containment style floors and walls, but in a cylindrical tunnel shape

--Room: a large fish tank style room attached to the tunnel system, with multiple large pipes leading in that poor fluid (doesn't have to pour, since they would be operational)

--Item spawns: red / 05 keycard spawn locations in certin hideouts within the tunnels, occasional weapons may spawn as well, maybe you find dead guards in the hiding spots with the loot on them.

--Fun part: 682 is a large reptilian lizard that can regenerate limbs and is literally immortal, so all he does is roam these tunnels and kills anything he touches, you can randomize his path and he doesn't need to be advanced, just like, hide when u hear him running at you near the tunnels. The tunnels will have multiple hideaways which you can use to avoid 682, imagine it as a giant boulder, Indiana Jones style, but like, lots of teeth. what this really is, is a large game of Pac man with one giant scary af ghost, also to make it not as game breaking with the 05/red card spawns, make them rare and make 682 have player tracking like the ghosts in Pac Man.

---------------Why this would be a unique addition to the game------------
I'm sure we have all had this moment, you find the blue keycard, but oh no, there is 173 and 096, they are blocking you, and now oh no here comes 049, its time to run. But you can only leave light containment, now what, you only have a blue, you won't be able to escape! But don't worry, with this new addition you can run down to the sewers and gear up, grab a gun! grab a card! grab whats left of you shattered will to live! now run back up there and face your enemies with dignity! also, it would be very useful for once light containment zone gets decontaminated as it becomes impossible to get a 05/red unless you get lucky in the entrance zone lockers.

Anyways that's it! Hope you guys like my idea and if you do I actually have a straw poll so the developers can actually see if you guys would like this or something similar.

(So this post doesn't get buried in obscurity, please don't forget to +1)

This is a way better idea than the common 682 suggestions. +1

A minigame in a multiplayer game? Eh... Not quite fond of this idea. You're supposed to play against other people, not avoid a bot by going into cracks in a maze.

Ya, I see what you mean, but then again there are lots of ways you can make it better and I think that it would add a nice horror element to the game, just imagine being in pitch black tunnels when all of a sudden you hear a large roar behind u, you turn around, and BOOM, your dead. And for the multiplayer part, there’s nothing stopping a group of NTF going down there to hunt for a d class or go get a new card, I think it would actually be more fun with a group because they would all be equally terrified and when they hear it they would all freak out then laugh in spectator when they died

Ye! That’s where I got the idea from, although I don’t think doors could be added to block if, but maybe who knows, it’s really up to the developers if they want to see this or not

Also sorry for replying again, but the goal of this is not that you want to stay down their long, you want to go down, get stuff, then leave as fast as possible, I understand the concern for taking away from the main game but lots of changes can be done in order to prevent camping and etc, maybe you slowly die like in 106 area because of toxic gas, maybe it’s a small maze so that you are a lot more likely to run into 682, etc. Make it more of a “Tesla gate” then a mini game

Waaaay too much work. Don't like the idea of NPC's in a strictly player controlled game. I think the maintenance tunnel(sewers) should be added to allow complete access across the facility. But I don't like the idea of 682 or the tons of items you can find. -1

Nah, sorry, don't like it. Not only does it make zero sense for SCP-682 to just be wandering around some maintenance tunnels in the facility, as it would much rather try to escape and could easily do so, but it sounds like a lot of work for what it's worth and I personally would rather a new playable SCP, rather than a minigame SCP. I don't believe there is any good way to implement 682, except for maybe the occasional roar as ambience.
