Description: SCP-689 is a small green statue that rarely spawn in the heavy containment zone, either in it's personal chamber or on the foor.

The statue is small enough to be picked up by any human player.

SCP-689 can be extremely dangerous since it can inflict a curse/disease that spreads just with the sight of the statue.

The curse: when a human player has sight of 689 for more than 1-2 seconds it will be affected by it's curse and and a slightly darker outline will appear on the victim's screen to notify this.

After that if 689 is left unseen for more than 30 seconds, it will disappear completely for 15-20 seconds, the "Death Phase", after which it will kill and riappear near the corpse of one of the cursed victims.

Note:

• Multiple people can be affected by 689 curse simultaneously.
  
• During the Death Phase all the cursed players will start to hear a heartbeat that will increase in intensity until 689 has killed his victim.
  
• 689 victim is selected at random between all of the cursed players.
  
• 689 will spawn in the last correctly walkable place his victim has been.
  
• Keeping 689 in your inventory doesn't count as seeing it, but keeping in your hand does.
  
• Other players can be cursed by 689 if you are keeping it in your hand.
  
• Different players can reset the 30 seconds timer of 689 by looking at it.
  
• Other SCPs don't have any effect on it (like 173).
  
• 689 can be safely recontained if "patient 0" jumps in a pit with it.
  
• Additionally if 689 is exctracted by an NTF then it will be recontained in another facility lifting temporeanly the curse from all players.

Conclusions: SCP-689 can be an extremely dangerous weapons since it can infect all the players of the game, even if it's extremely slow to kill everyone (roughly 1 kill per minute if left uncecked for the entire game).

SCP-689 combine the powers of 096 and 173 since you need to avoid it at all cost if you haven't seen it before, or you have to keep loking at it if you are cursed.

Even if it's just a motionless object, 689 can bring enough paranoia on par with other major SCP and it can become itself an objective important as the nuke.
