Can't play the game due to an error, please help me

Hi !

I need your help, when I launch the game, I'm on the menu, but an error occur, saying : "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library. Runtime error. This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

So, I can't play the game, do you have an idea of what I could do to finally play the game without this error ?

Yeah, but before, the game was working perfectly on my computer, even with Windows 7, so, I don't understand why it doesn't work anymore after some updates.

Because they probably removed Windows 7 support... i don't think there is a fix/solution yet for Windows 7... or if there is its a major secret, because nobody is talking about it on the internet or here on the forums.... you will see the same thing its a runtime library issue... that's not what the problem is, the problem is in unity the platform/engine the game is built on....

the guy above wants you to get discord, FYI their discord is heavily locked requiring you to accept all kinds of agreements and locked down with phone verification if you don't have a real mobile number good luck getting in there to read anything... the support / discussion channels are filled with the same questions like yours but no help at all, they want to redirect you to another locked channel where you have to put in a ticket for support... and hope that someone cares enough to even look at it

meanwhile the people asking for support just like you are being laughed at or ignored by other discord members, so I wouldn't bother or waste any time there. i dont think i've seen one pinned question or article in there... so yeah again.. don't bother or waste your time there...

my PC/rig is really old but really powerful, my work around was to make a windows 10 virtual machine and make a new steam account to get the game since its free, that is one way I got to play it,

after doing all that and playing for about 30-45mins, decided it's not something i am really interested in since i already played SCP CB ( scpcbgame.com. ) good luck hope this helps!

Dont worry, I'm not going on their Discord, I don't want to lose time there.
I'm going to wait until I have a new PC with Windows 10 on it, It's just a game after all, I've better things to do while I wait.
