Mic not working at all

My mic works completely fine in Discord which I am using at the same time as the game. I use VoiceMod so I thought that might be the problem, so I went to switch my mic in-game, when I found there is literally so option to change which mic you are using which is pretty much a needed feature for a game like this. Anyways, I am not muted in game and can hear other people fine. It's just that no one can hear me. I tried restarting my computer and running the game as an administrator, which doesn't even let you join servers. Can someone give me a solution so I can actually play?

Since no one seemed to respond to my problem, I might as well update. I tried redownloading the game and nothing so that doesn't work. I'm basically just making this reply so people might actually respond this time. Please, just give me a solution, the game is basically impossible without communication and my mic has worked fine for so long on this game before. I don't understand how people without mics even play. Please give a solution that will finally fix this

Are you sure you want to keep VoiceMod?
If not, try to disable and and retest.

Hello, I have the same problem. My mic work on other things like discord and steam voice chat but not in SCP:SL.
I am having this issue after reinstalling Voicemod, but what I find weird is that I had Voicemod installed a few months ago, and I didn't have any problems with it.

I'm sure this is because SCP:SL doesn't have any option to change mic, because it works fine on other games for me.

Hey again, solved the problem ! You have to go into windows setting and put your Voicemod input in "default" because instead of making options to change mic like any other game, this game just use the default entry so there you go

Okay SCP SL isnt identifying my mic input from voicemod even though thats the default and It wont work for any other source and now im cofused.
