Constantly losing connection

On every server after about 5 minutes of playing I get an error that says I've lost connection. I've seen this is a somewhat common issue from looking it up and have tried a few things
Clearing the steam cache, reinstalling, verifying integrity of the game cache, and resetting internet, disabling firewalls and antivirus that could be blocking it
None of these have worked at all. It can't be a problem with my internet because every thing else I've played and used works just fine, including other multiplayer games and they seem to work. I really have no idea what the problem is.

It could be a server problem. Try joining other servers to see if it still happens.

Meant to mention this in the main post, but I've tried I think 4 servers so far and they all had the same problem. Not sure if it matters but haven't tried the main servers since there's never any spots on them.

A bit late, was doing some stuff, just tried it on an eu and an au server and some result

Did the error message say "Connection Lost (Timed out)"?

Really late on this, but was fixing some unrelated issues involving my computer starting up and after that it seems to have worked. No idea what was causing but it's solved now I guess

Please check to see if you are having the issue on different servers from different regions. If so, you can try restarting your router or using an ethernet cable.

I tried it on a lot of servers; US, EU, PL, I even joined an Israel server. But with no luck, I just keep disconnecting and its so annoying.
How do I make the game run as administrator through steam?
cause when I right-click the desktop icon it doesn't show the option to run as administrator

Go to \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\SCP Secret Laboratory and find SCPSL.exe. Right click properties, select compatibility and tick Run this program as administrator.

Go to \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\SCP Secret Laboratory and find SCPSL.exe. Right click properties, select compatibility and tick Run this program as administrator.

I restarted my router and it fixed the problem. Hopefully it won't happen again.
