Mic not working
My mic works on everything else except this game.

I've defaulted it on my PC, on Steam, heck, I even disabled all other mics just to be sure, but still nothing. I've reinstalled the game, downloaded mono libraries, messed with every type of configs both on Steam and on desktop, but still nothing.

When I press Q to speak, the mic icon appears but doesn't fill up at all, unless I directly blow into the microphone, to which it fills up to about 1/15th, and pretty much plays no sound in-game.

I don't have VoiceMod like I've seen in other threads, and I feel like I tried everything I could to get the mic to work, which is a shame, cause this is a really fun game.

< 15. How do I find my player log? >

Player log:
* Steam Library > SCP: Secret Laboratory > Properties > Local Files > Browse local files
* Run the windows batch file titled ‘log.bat’
* The output log will be a text file titled ‘Player.log’

Copy and paste the content here or in a Pastebin.

What mic are you using? And you are using Intel HD Graphics?

I'm using a really old BlueSky microphone, but hey, still better than my Razer headset.
Image I found on google: https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQfSl_MQBF6g3UF5yu-CJ-bDCef2CBBALRsLCah3ecqZ1hrsGnG&s

I'm currently using Intel UHD Graphics 630. I understand the game doesn't support Intel cards, but does it have any issues with the mic not connecting? Everything else gameplay wise works fine, the only problem is really the mic.

Might have found a work around to this.

I installed VoiceMod because I thought if the problem was the game directly accessing my mic, maybe by having something else capture my mic and then transmiting that information to the game could work.

I hoped in a random server and it seemed to work (by that I mean the mic icon actually filled up), but I'm a bit too shy to ask rando's about my mic, so I still have to test it the next time the Boys get together for a session of debauchery. Will update when I test it.

Edit: This does indeed work. I can now use my mic in-game through VoiceMod.
