Cant join servers

Hi, every time I try to join a server it takes around 10 minutes to even load in, but then gives me a "Failed to validate authentication token" error. This has been happening to ever server I've tried to join since mp2 launched. Is there anyway to fix this or is my internet just that rubbish?

Ok, so I reinstalled the game and tried connecting. I got the same issue, though the first time I tried I got a second line of red text: Lobby ID Invalid: 0

That didn't show up the second time, but I still get the original red message about the preauthentication token.

Are you using an ethernet cable?

ok, sorry for the later reply, but no the update did not help. I also get the same messages as Cmd Draven did, with the "you have been cuffed" message. It also takes a long time to load in even though my wifi is reliable and top notch.

You get any errors in the game console?

The only error I can see while loading onto to a server is, [unencrypted from server] UserID mismatch between authentication and preauthentication token.

Can you try official servers to see if you are still having the issue?

Thanks for replying so quickly, I tried the official server and I still got the same error. I've got no idea whats causing it since the game worked fine before mp2 but since the update I've just been getting auth error.

Before joining your server, type ar in game console first. Then try joining.
If it still fails, you need to add -authdebug to your game launch properties. It will print a bunch of blue texts in your game console when you launch the game. Then print another when you join a server. Will need them both for further diagnosis.

It did not work, but I dont want to waste anyones time especially near the holidays, because I already am planning to buy a new pc, most likely the problem will be solved from getting a new pc. Sorry for wasting anyones time in particular, and I thank you for trying to help me.
