A BIG Problem With My Game

Well, I Can't Play This Game In Medium Or High Settings So I Make Them Low But My Game Sets The "Screen Resolution" In Very High Every Time I Restart It Or Even When I'm Trying To Join A Server.Please Help Me If You Know What's The Problem :C

Screen resolution shouldn't affect performance. In fact, screen resolution for a fullscreen game is extremely important to maintain at whatever the proper setting is.

To explain, screen resolution isn't the resolution of the game, it's the size of the game window. Ideally, this should be set to match your computer screen's resolution (which most games do by default) otherwise there might be issues with clicking outside the game or not being able to access certain parts of the game screen.

My potato computer can't handle this game. Above 800x600 res, my FPS drops to 10, while at 800x600 it stays at 20. I don't know why it happens, it happens to me as well, but you can press esc mid-game and switch your screen resolution down in settings. If it says that you have the same resolution as you chose before, but the actual resolution is higher, change the screen resolution down by one, and then up by one.

If you know where the game saves settings you should go to that folder and right click on that file and check if it is to Read Only. I don't know if that is the problem but in many games I had to disable Read-Only from setting file so they keep the settings saved.

Game crashes before i can join the server sometimes

I think I know what this problem is like. I have it and it's been a long time, the resolution changes suddenly and can slow the game to slow loading and crashing.
I have never tried to leave it in read-only mode, if this comes back often I will try.
