Very Quiet Mic

I have a very wierd problem with my mic and I've isolated it to this and a small collection of games. My mic works, it emits sound, but all of a sudden it's gone very very quiet in this game when it used to work perfectly. It's turned all the way up in my windows sound settings, I've confirmed with recordings and discord that my mic works, it's just on this game. I'm running out of things to try, any support?

right click on the sound icon in the bottom right of the task bar, click "Sounds"

then go to "Recording"

right click on your microphone then go to properties,

go to "Levels" and try turning up the volume there.

If that doesn't work then click Advanced and see if you can change the mic quality to 48k hz.

If you have a headset like HyperX then you can just use a small controller thing attached to it to change microphone volume.
