Voice Issues with no fix

Yes I've looked at all the discussions. Yes I've installed mono a bunch of times. Yes I've reinstalled this game, hell even steam itself, and I don't think I need to mention that I've restarted the computer. Voices literally don't exist in this game for me, no matter how hard I try, and it's sucking all the fun I have for this game into the gutter.

If anyone somehow does manage to have a solution, huge kudos to you, but heads up, I have serious badluck with game bugs for some reason, no matter how hard I try to fix them.

Broken audio

My voice chat is broken. I can not hear others talk and presumably can to be heard myself.
I've tried googling it but to no avail.
Any ideas?

IF VOICE CHAT DOESN'T WORK:
1. On desktop in lower right corner click RMB on speaker.
2. Click on "Recording devices"
3. If you have got more than 1 microhone click RMB on real microphone and set it default device and default chat device.
4. If you still get problems download mono library for x86 and x64 :

I'm pretty sure its to do with latency.
In previous updates I could hear people fine 130ms+ at 160ms+ I only hear one or two and the intercom is just the static sound whenever someone uses it. :x Try different servers and see if it has a difference?

Mic not working

I have a mic that is compeletly functional, I know push to talk is Q but when ever I push it people can't hear me - my friend is having the same issue where he can hear others but no one can hear him.

Having the same problems. Made sure to check whether or not my wic was working on steam and it was. Must be the game. Please fix.

I've tried that and it still hasn't worked. I verified if mono worked by doing the "Hello world" trick, and I also checked if my microphones were set to default which it was. I don't know what else to try.

Disable any other capture devices you have and restart your game.

I believe it was the server I was on, because I joined a different one and it worked.

There's no way to disable voice chat currently, so that's strange.

whenever i get into a game im able to hear peoples voices, and it says press q to talk
