How to change microphones?

So SCP:SL wants to default to this bad desktop mic when I have a headset mic, and I see no audio input options, is there any way to change my default mic?

Open your Sounds (bottom right corner, speaker icon), go to Recording and set your headset's microphone as default device. That should do it.

Hey, I know this has been solved, but I cannot see any icon in the settings menus or main menu. I've also looked on the Steam settings and I cannot see anything about Input & Output anywhere. Could I get some guidance, please?

It's in the windows audio setting.
