SCP:SL crashing when joining a server

It crashes in the "loading level". I have all the right specs. Maximum specs for it too. I downloaded the 4gb patch thing. It's extremely infuriating. I just wanna frigging play.

Post your spec anyway, see if it's a driver issue. In the meantime, try to run the game in windowed mode.

What is the GPU?

but it also says

Your laptop may be using the Intel HD graphics. Follow this guide to force the game to use Nvidia GPU.

Sadly this didn't work either. It stops responding, makes my screen black and crashed when its loading level.

I might as well abandon hope altogether, even my old laptop could do better. It was an XP.

You can try reinstalling the game to remove the 4gb patch.

It crashes when connecting to level. I think it has something to do with the game's graphics.

You can try to run the game at 800x600 and turn off all graphics.

It works. I'll slowly start making my resolution back up to see if it was just the graphics. Thanks!

Can you help me. My problem is that the game looks like its starting. I see the please wait circle spinning as it should. Then the game just automatically shuts down by itself without no notice or anything, it doesn't even say ''not responding'' it just shuts down. I don't even get a chance to go into the settings and change the resolution. I tried the set launch options way and nothing works. My specs are just the same as his but the only thing is i got 4GB ram and intel HD 3000 graphics. Yes i've tried other methods and none of them work. Can someone please help me.
