[SCP:SL] Ban Information & Appeal Procedures

This thread contains up-to-date information of the bans Northwood Studios can enact on Steam accounts. Refer to the right section for the correct procedures on how to proceed if you have been affected by one of these bans.

EULA

All appeals will be reviewed carefully by the Global Moderation Team, and you will receive a verdict within 3 to 7 business days.

• Publisher Ban / Game Ban

  We issue Game Bans to people we believe have been involved in cheating or any violations of the EULA.
  These bans will not be lifted under any circumstance, except when the ban was applied falsely.
  
  If you believe you have been banned falsely and you have not cheated or violated the EULA, please visit https://support.scpslgame.com/ban-appeal to submit a ban appeal.
  
  

• ASN Ban

  We check players that do not meet the requirements listed below for any VPN or Proxy usage to counter cheaters that use account generators and/or make new accounts when they are banned.
  To not be affected by ASN bans, you must meet one of the three conditions:
  
  
  1. Account level must not be 0. (Requires a public profile)
     
  2. Your account age must be older than 2 months. (Requires a public profile)
     
  3. You must have had SCP: Secret Laboratory in your steam library for greater than 2 weeks.
  
  If your ASN is banned but you are not using a VPN or proxy, please visit https://support.scpslgame.com/ban-appeal to submit a ban appeal.
  
  ASN bans will still be applied, even when one or all of the abovementioned requirements are met, if that specific ASN is blacklisted.
  
  

• HWID Spoofer

  We block HWID spoofers to counter ban evasion and alt accounting.
  If you get blocked on your main account for using a spoofer, that means you need to get whitelisted in order to play normally.

What's a SteamID64?
It's a method of finding your account. To find it, go to https://steamid.io. There, enter your profile link, a custom ID or something else listed. After finding your profile, it will show you your SteamID64.
