is jailbird supposed to be an anti SCP weapon?
ill get 3 hitmarkers on an SCP but it will not do any damage, is it supposed to only be against humans?

Bruh i just checked the wiki and the swing does 50 damage and the charge does only 200, this stuff sucks against SCPs

your aware that the charge also blinds and ignores hume shields an on the final chage (red state) causes a massive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ explosion that nukes anything it hits
the jailbird also has a 4X damage multi vs all zombies

im not saying its underpowered im just saying that i feel misled

no it is very much an anti SCP weapon its bit better towards humans and zombies

And that's how it should be, you shouldn't be able to solo an SCP in melee just because you have a Jailbird. The Jailbird M1 is mainly for hurting or killing humans and zombies when it's too late to use the M2, and the M2 is really good against everything and is what you should be using to fight SCPs.

The Jailbird is really good, and allows for quick damage and getaways while doing so. But has one flaw, a flaw that isn't the Jailbirds' but more so the hitboxes. These stupid hitboxes. And I'm honestly fine if it collides with the hitbox of your ally, but it happens so often where it may look like you hit nothing when charging it! Turns out, your teammate stepped one foot too close to you and the Jailbird decided it would hit their hitbox instead of the SCP you were about to hit. I'm talking about FF off servers, it happens on these too, which contributes to the Jailbirds' charge interruption seemingly happening out of nowhere. If a teammate is behind you, or anywhere's near for the Jailbird charge.

Even worse when it seems like no one else knows this and think you just failed the swing incredibly hard... If you try sacrificing yourself with the Jailbird detonation and a teammate just so happens to pop up in your way and they block it? There goes your sacrifice and it doesn't even explode. No AOE damage to at least frighten the SCPs.
