Can't talk in game at all due to ♥♥♥♥ admins

So a little bit ago, I got kicked/banned for 3 days by a moderator who basically was the equivalent of a snobby fratboy arsehole that didn't like the fact that I wanted to meme around by trying to kill him when the entire server went out of their way to escort him to escape (despite the fact he was a dboy which we spent the whole game killing)

A little bit later I'm messing around with ol' mate by singing the Halo theme (chrous and instruments and all) and I get kicked/banned for 3 days due to staff "harassment" and "poor behaviour"

I thought it was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ so I go on the discord to try and have my ban lifted. I report the guy that banned me (mainly because he kept silencing the whole lobby because people kept mic spamming which is a poo reason to do such a thing) and one of the admin guys on the discord messages me asking what happened. I tell him what happened and he says that I've been targeting the mod for 3 days and that I kept weakening him whenever I got the chance and that I have a really poor history

So I go wtf and he says it's because of kick/ban stacks (which all of them were because of teamkilling my friends or throwing a grenade at a SCP only for for 4 of my teammates to get caught in the blast because coordination is impossible

He also says I got kicked on 8th of March due to racism (which I don't remember and even if I did, it was me probably dropping a n-word while in a conversation with ol' mate

He then goes on to say that it's his pet's word over mine due to poor history and false accusations of me attempting to assassinate the mod for 3 days in a row. And I called one of the mods a pedo in September (which I don't remember) and his excuse for my ban is that I have a poo history and that I was targeting Pengu for who he was, which makes it sound like he's a victim or some ♥♥♥♥ after 1 second of me trying to kill him (which I didn't even manage to do)

I tell him that his moderators are ♥♥♥♥ and abusing power (muting the whole lobby because people were mic spamming and doing nothing as little kids were being witch hunted and
team-killed because they had high pitch voices meanwhile the Admin let all of this happen
due which he said that he'll "remind them" to do so. (A straight up ban for me but not even a slap on the wrist for admin abuse?)

tl;dr I get into an argument with the Admin, calling him out on his ♥♥♥♥ with him acting like a snob. You know that thing where if a customer is acting like a ♥♥♥♥ to a employee but the employee is still acting all polite but obviously agitated? Wasn't the case with this guy

After all said and done, figured why bother and left to do other things for 3 days. I return after 5 due to homework spree from school (thanks ♥♥♥♥ cirriculum) and over the time I start playing I start to realise no one can hear me. I start slightly going insane as the dopamine boost I receive from engaging in civil philosopical debates (aka ♥♥♥♥-posting) is all gone

I start going to random people by themselves and asking them if they can hear me, none of them respond and I start going insane, until I meet one guy who says he can hear me fine. Peace at last! He died but I died with a smile on my face

Next round we spawn as MTF and I find an O5. I figured why not have everyone hear my angelic voice by singing at the Intercom. I get there only to find not the biblical initiation of the intercom but instead big blue text that said

YOU HAVE BEEN MUTED BY ADMIN
I got banned for 3 days and now I can't talk at all despite the ban being worn off, wtf is this game
Doesn't help that the server it's on is the only good server in my region and the only one that has the highest player count with team killing (because not being able to kill trolls sucks)
It didn't even say how long I am muted for, it's been a while since the ban went away but I'm starting to think it's permanent, if so then ♥♥♥♥ the server admins that did so because that ♥♥♥♥ gay and I hope they step on lego

So tl;dr I got muted because of abusive admin that basically lied about me trying to harass him for 3 days, his owner believes his pet over me due to history of me getting TK bans not of my own volition 60% of the time and now I'm perma muted

Man I seriously wish we had no admin servers with no rules. It breaks the whole point of the game which is lack of trust and communication (screaming incoherently doesn't count as communication but it sure is a hell of a lot of fun)

This is why we shouldn't have admins at all with little to no server rules, it allows people to ♥♥♥♥ on others trying to have fun simply because they're having a bad day or they like having a power trip

Well, there's always more servers to look around for with admins that aren't ♥♥♥♥♥♥. There's not really much that can be done about that.

That's the thing, all the other servers are either garbage or have next to no players on it. I'm basically stuck with either not playing the game at all since voicechat is the most crucial part of this game or playing it as a first person shooter where everyone is a NPC

one good server with decent staff is lunary's servers, unless you dont like the plugins, later in the day there is lots of people

Admins are good for nothing but solving minor problems, teamkills, stuff like that. Soon as it becomes a more social situation where it's less about players not having fun but rather players not liking how another player has fun, they start to pick sides. Admins are 9 times out of 10 lonely, power-tripping college students who'd rather protest and talk about change than actually change things themselves. Instead of getting a real job here they can get real power they decide to abuse the digital, easier-to-get power in an online multiplayer game.

There are few good ones, because power corrupts and only the best and most ballsy do not fall for it. It's scary and unpredictable how much power truly takes over a person, and that's why you need to find the right leader type. You can't just pick someone because they checked all the boxes. You need to talk with them, put them in practice, and validate yourself as someone who isn't a piece of ♥♥♥♥.

the server i found has really good admins surprisingly, most of them like fun, and let people bend the rules to have fun, (except for empty water bottle) but they crack down on major rule breakers

In any game, in any lobby, in any server, I'd rather deal with the problems of a teamkiller, a traitor, or a teamer, myself and with the other players if we see it fit as a group to kill these kinds of people. It's the kind of experience you'll find in Barotrauma. Instead of instantly banning or kicking a griefer a good host will join the rest of the crew in the execution of the menace. One time we ejected a griefer out, dragged him to the very top roof of the sub, then shot him with railguns, mutilating his corpse.

I wish that happened here, but admins seem to like removing a person's existence with the press of a button, noclipping into someone's life and telling them they've been a bad boy, or unnecessarily helping someone and hurting another "just to meme."

on an old gmod server, we used to form up agaisnt rule breakers cause staff were never on and constantly kill them

If you want no admins and no rules then just play on anarchy servers. If for some reason you can't (or dont want) then just make your own server.

SCP SL Servers are odd. sometimes you get a real chill zone where everyone is a troll. Which can add up to the fun. Or sometimes you get a real danger zone, where all the staff want you dead and report you for having fun. I mean you can always play on the official nw servers. unless you want no rules, just look for servers with "no rules" on the server info tab. your best bet.

The fact that you can't really remember when you've teamkilled someone, dropped the n-word or called a staff member a pedophile doesn't necessarily strike confidence in your pure innocence either. But I advise you to try and appeal the mute, because I assume such would also be appealable alongside bans. Mutes in SL have no system of expiry, and only go away when a staff member unmutes you, so there might be luck in that direction.
Anarchy servers are problematic, as admins are sadly needed to weed out very problematic players. Some people just want to have fun themselves, sacrificing everyone else's experience of the game for their own enjoyment. If you want such an experience, there are servers for that, which can be found with a small amount of digging. Some servers can even be found outside of the server list!
