SCP-1702 - The French Hive
While looking at the SCP Wiki and writing my SCP I found this and liked it. Thought of an idea on how it could be implemented into SCP:SL

SCP Article : https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-1702

Quick summary of the SCP :

A colony of humanoids with bee-like features in a hierarchy. So like real life bees but, the size and shape of humans with bee-like features such as antennaes.

There is a queen, male workers, and female workers. Female construct their hive and take care of the newborns and the queen while the males protect the hive. Queen is responsible for making little babies.

If the queen dies or breaks out of the trance the female workers will literally tear her to pieces and will replace her with a new human female who begins to (presumably) mutate into the queen which has a 1:1 design. Looking exactly the same.

SCP:SL Implementation:

My idea (numbers for damage and health and Ahp can be changed because I am not good at that) is that either
A) This SCP will be like all the others, can spawn at the start of the round with others or
B) If this SCP is chosen all SCP players will be female or male workers (maybe a mix of both?) when the round starts

Depending on which one is chosen, that should determine the numbers of damage and health.

The players vision will be partially like a bee's vision (since they're a mix of human and bee's) which will let them see the world in a strange way. Not as blurry as a bee but, not perfect like human vision. If this doesn't work it can be scrapped.

The players will be given the option to be supportive or aggressive. Killing players and feeding on them to use their stomachs to build "Mini Hives" that can support their team. Some ideas can be, healing an SCP by a set amount over time, temporary speed increase, something that supports them when near the hive and can't be reliably abused.

I.E. 173 stands near the hive and gains a set amount of Hp per second and after it gains all it can 173 cannot gain anything else from that Hive.

The 1702 workers cannot build more than 1 Hive unless it is destroyed by the human players or if they intentionally destroy it. IMO, intentionally destroying it reduces the cooldown while human players destroying it just makes the cooldown normal. To encourage being a team player and moving it around.

Since they are partially bees they should have the ability to fly but, like sprint it has a limit. They can sprint after humans or fly to ambush or cut off or even save themselves. 1 meter that counts for both so one can't just fly then sprint away, they have to choose one or the other or try and use both but, make the best out of both with a single meter.

If enough organic material is collected they can choose a spectator (at random) to spawn at the mini hive and join their team. The spectator chosen will have 10 seconds to accept or deny this request, if denied it will pick someone else, over and over until someone says yes.

Should everyone say no due to a small server or no one at all wanting to be one they will instead have whatever support stat chosen for the idea, be doubled. So if it's Hp over time the Hp per second is doubled, the speed increase lasts twice as long, etc. whatever is best chosen for this ability..

Their room is in HCZ (since EZ or LCZ will likely be cause for balance issues) with their hive in a big cave-like room down an elevator past security doors. This hive won't have an actual interior and is just visual, the player(s) spawn outside the hive when the round starts and has a dead body torn into multiple pieces.

TL:DR:
SCP-1702 is a bee-like anomaly with humanoids with bee-like features. If added to SCP:SL they will be able to sprint and fly using the same meter and attack humans players for organic material to create mini hives to support their team. If enough is collected they can get another one to spawn from a random spectator and if no one wants to be one they get their buff doubled for their team whichever is best chosen.

Does the idea suck?
Is it good?
What would you change if you were in charge of implementing this into SCP:SL?

I've flash read the file and watched a video, the idea would be good on an SCP open world pve battlefield-like game rather than here on SL. people would rather play the long deleted and cancelled scp-457 or 1507 for a hive-mind scp.

I would put this scp in an entire different scp game that doesn't exists and never will.

ty for the read and opinion. Thought it would be cool for some kind of flying SCP like 772 or this to be added. Especially for whatever comes out of new surface zone and new rooms in HCZ that we've seen.

Imagine one of them flying under the bridge and then coming over to ambush you. Ty for the steam award btw.

I'd like ghouls to try to murder me, rather than a sequel to a grim bee movie. like i said, your idea is good for an open world scp game. that ♥♥♥♥ ain't gonna happen or it's gonna be ♥♥♥♥.
