no performance or optimization updates

for some reason m ive had really bad frame rate and performance with the public beta and current version. I just got a new desktop computer that meets way beyond the games requirements and have all the right settings. I don't know whats going on but if its the games lack of performance and improvement updates its really annoying. has anyone else been having bad framerate and constant lag and screen stuttering with the new update? When i play on a local server or any official one in the public beta I have really bad stuttering and can’t even move I’m not sure what it is but I know it’s not my pc I have all the right settings. Why haven’t they added or done any performance improvements or optimization?

They are gonna update the culling system in a future public beta update. It may or may not improve the framerate to you. Hubert's super computer got like a ~40-60 FPS improvement in a private server all alone.

I mean its crazy I cant even get 30 fps with a 3070 and 10700k, 32 gb ddr4 3200mhz ram on an ssd with this update. Regardless of what settings on choose my gpu is pinned at 100% in game, even if im staring at a wall at the corner of the map on surface or light/heavy. Ive turned down everything I possibly can, and had zero difference in performance than turning every setting as high as it would let me.

i have around the same specs and get either 40-60 fps ive had bad performance on both the public beta and current version so far. i don't know if its worth playing scp sl anymore if its going to not be well optimized and keep making my gameplay really difficult

why would you want a good framerate 60 fps is so overrated anyway.

Currently in the beta the shadows are forced as the setting is broken and shadows are ass for performance, this will be fixed soon along with the release of a better culling system

Yea I’ve noticed that to with modded servers it happens on official servers for me to I get like 60-70 fps. it’s seems more noticeable now with the full release version of 14.0

No offense, but maybe your computer needs an optimization update instead of just SL having one. And if you can't afford it then that's probably just how it's gonna be, unless you make some sort of comprimise.
