So if you saw the new nuke room you've probably seen the GOD IS HERE red mural in there, too.

This is half a suggestion and half a theory.

Site-02 is a giant towering facility starting from deep down in the earth and reaching the surface, where to the public it's just a NATO military base, or an international research station, whichever way NW wants to go.

However, the spire doesn't end there. The Foundation naturally deals with and even practices occult things on the regular, so their facility also extends beyond the earth, on a separate realm. Now there isn't actually a giant physical tower going from the surface of the earth into space, as cool as that would be, but there is a surreal extradimensional spire continuing from the Foundation's weapons research site.

What does it look like? Who works in the extradimensional extension of Site-02? Why has the Foundation kept it a secret? That last one's pretty obvious actually, they just love keeping secrets.

What does this mean for the game? Well it obviously means the surface rework won't just include the surface, but an entirely new plane of existence with Lovecraftian vibes that no other game has ever peaked.

A gamer can dream.

It's not the best, but it's the only hope right now.

My dream SCP game though, would be like if you took Amnesia: The Bunker, and mixed it with SCP: Containment Breach, Lovecraft, and Cabin in the Woods. You'd have it all in a neat little package.

The simple but intense gameplay of The Bunker; the horror, humor, and anomalies of Containment Breach; the immense and terrifying dimension's of Lovecraft's works; and the spec ops and supernatural massacres of Cabin in the Woods.

I was kinda hoping SL would go in a more gritty but funny route, but it's kind of just all over the place. It'll never be an SCP game to me, but it'll always be a fun meme game that just so happens to star SCP characters.

Doubt it, but so far SCP: Valravn looks like the most promising upcoming SCP game, second to 5K, only cause 5K's had a lot of time in development. Maybe way too much time. Time will tell. Time time time.
