Old SCP-096 sounds better?
I get that they are fully revamping the fast man, but I feel like the old screams were way scarier and more nostalgic. Anyone else or nah?

I agree they feel much more scarier and hold more nostalgia for me, but they are CB assets so gone

I really love the new scream how it starts off quite human, but morphs into something not quite right before the rampage begins

When the patreons were asked about the new and old scream and which one they preferred it was 50:50. It seems to be like that here. I honestly prefer the new scream.

The new sounds are stolen / reverse engineered COD5 Zombies screams. He doesn't sound shy anymore and I'm not to sold on his rework.

I personally prefer the old screams and sounds, I feel like the new scream isn't drawn out enough or as angry sounding. I don't think they need to bring back the old one, but maybe improve the new one. They could also go for a completely inhuman sounding one like the one in an SCP: Containment Breach mod called "Dark Confinement" that one was cool too.

They are unique sounds for 096, they just sound similar and they even said that it was unintentional for them to sound similar.

correctomundo. 096 from CB is entirely reused assets from a stock soundbase
