I mean, for me performance has definitely increased. I think the larger problem is the infrequency of updates, which makes it feel like they aren't optimizing simply because they aren't updating at all for large amounts of time
I'm in favor of replacing 096 with another crowd-control SCP (like SCP-323), but from what I see, Northwood really doesn't want to remove 096, so the reason he didn't get any changes this update is probably because any changes they did try for him just made him stronger or underpowered. Probably. We don't get a lot of communication lol
They only made this game to convince young kids to subscribe to their patreon and donate money to them using their mum’s credit card.
but the game is not just MTF/Chaos, about third/half the game is early game. Think of the impact SCP-096 alongside his peers has on probably the most interesting part of every round...
You have to look at the ground the whole time, unless you are absolutely sure 096 is in different Zone. Because of view distance and audio distance, an 096 will be triggered, while being completely impossible to see and hear in long corridors, so you either metagame and look down to be safe or you don't and risk getting targeted This is especially true in early game in LCZ.
