Since the entire map is tiny enclosed corridors, any attempt of fighting it usually results in instant neck snappage.

Turning around a corner while 173 is after you results in instant neck snappage.

Being seen by 173 for any amount of time usually results in neck snappage.

079 is designed primarily to help 173, resulting in instant neck snappage.

Since the game promotes SCPs to camp, 173 is especially good at this, with its instant neck snappage as well as its ability to ♥♥♥♥ on the floor.

You can't escape 173 when it wants to kill you due to its breakneck speed ability. It's just as bad as 096, if not even worse. Not even elevators can stop it, in fact, they make it stronger.

Almost every corridor is the perfect length for 173 to commit instant neck snappage.

It's also the only SCP I find fun to play.

I have learned how to effectively counter 173. dont look at him, close doors.
Its better to not look at 173 when hes not using breakneck speeds.

Can't not look at it when you're shooting at it, or your comrades are looking at it, or if you don't look at it, you're bound to get neck snapped anyway.

There is no effective counter. I've learnt that after a lot of pain.
Yeah the competition is tight of who is more annoying between the two, but I think the fact that you can trigger 096 through walls or if it charges by you gives it a little bit of an extra edge. And the fact that 173 is usually straight forward enough to kill, more so than 096. And the fact 173 is a lot more salvageable than 096.

Oh, about the trigger through walls thing, I haven't looked too much into it, but apparently not only was it deemed a P4 bug (that means it's in the lowest priority tier), but they could also only emulate it by "looking at a door in a specific angle", which is definetly not true. Or at the very least this "specific angle" is less specific than they think.

honestly I find 173 both a lot more fun to play as and a bit more bearable to play against

since 173's moving sound is so loud you can easily hear it when hes kind of near, you can even hear him s****** on the floor and the neck snapping, its all very loud so just try to be cautious when you hear those noises, maybe hide for a few moment

He's loud but fast so when you hear him it can take less than 5 seconds for him to just arrive at your location
