Considering quitting SL and moving to CB Multiplayer.

ive been considering how sl's community has kind of been getting.. worse recently and i have been contemplating moving to CB Multiplayer. I need community opinons on what to do, should i leave this? or should i stay and see what happens? please leave thoughts below.

containment breach multiplayer is way more broken, buggy and has arguably way less players bordering on not enough for proper gameplay

containment breach however has actual survival horror vibes and feels better and cleaner to play

nothing stops you from playing both at the same time but despite how good scpcb is, if you want multiplayer scp unfortunately this game is probably the best bet

It’s frustrating how the options of multiplayer SCP games are very little. So many hardcore SCP fans yet so few games.

Looking at the bright side, at least there aren’t SCP games involving furry anthro vore stuff, which is a miracle considering so many people make sus fan art of SCP.

SCP SL is your best bet as of now. Most SCP games like SCP: Keter and SCPCB Multiplayer, or even worse being rbreach or the gmod breach alternative are lackluster. In terms of polish and gameplay SL will be your best bet as every other alternative is subpar at best.

And that was the most innovative SCP game of the year, mind you. Since almost every single SCP game in existence has three things: an underground facility, a reliance on security cards, and lots of randomly generated layouts.

There’s 5K but it’s a soulless L4D2 copy mixed with RE2s NEST facility design

second option is Event classified which could be good but the Demo build triggered by Anti-Virus alarm
but back on it it’s like DBD X SL so i hope they do good

third option is or better said was Forgotten facility, which was forgotten by its devs

fourth was scp keter (yes that’s it name lmao) but that ♥♥♥♥ died faster than the possibility of 096 being removed

It's baffling to me to this day how little games and content there is for SCP outside of the wiki. How many years since its inception and there's what, like 3 properly finished/supported games that are mostly out of drama? Everything gets taken away from us at the last moments due to some dumb controversy BS. Unity, Confinement...

A shame, really. SCP has a lot of potential. I for one think an SCP RPG game could be sick.

a few of us are playing around with this idea as a fun side project. it's definitely true that there's a lot of potential in SCP games, since it's such an oversaturated market but every last one of them are either trying to be secret lab or containment breach
