That's it.
That's the only thing that kept me playing for nearly 2k hours.
I think 106 kills are funny.
About a month later, I came back, and my entire attitude had changed for some reason. The first day alone I laughed at nearly everything. Every near-death experience, every funny line from another player, even every stupid death would make me giggle. I still laugh a lot, but not as much as that first day.
I just... don't take the game seriously, I suppose. I'll intentionally run into an area with hostiles while saying "It'll be fineeeeeee". I avoid 914 like the plague and instead focus on grabbing whatever I can elsewhere and getting out that way. If somebody wants to do a stupid skit like running a shop/checkpoint, or creating a cult, I'll join in. I'll commit to the bit even if it gets me killed. If there's nothing else going on I'll try to escape/actually do my job, but otherwise I just do what seems fun at that moment. Laughing at everything feels much better than getting angry at everything, I guess.
Oh, and as for spectator, I browse Reddit on my phone. Very easy for me to get sucked into it and time passes like a snap lol
They're the ones that can't wait for the round to be over so they can have another spin of the wheel of fortune. If you're hiding in a corner, die, and end up in spectator, the sadist will be the first one to bend your ear over how you stalled the round.
They're primarily good at killing people, but only as an SCP. When they're humans, they're either pursuing an instant defeat so that the next round can start, or they're waiting in spectator, watching youtube. Unfortunately for the rest of us, sadists get SCP 6 times out of 10, so we're left with 1 time out of 10. The other 3 times are for the sado-masochists.
They know they're going to die, come back, die, come back, and that the cycle will repeat once again, so they spend their lives carefree and joyously, looking for stupider ways to die, fun things to do like starting a cult. But sometimes, with a shred of sanity left in their mind, they look for smarter ways to survive and partners in crime to stick by.
Obviously I'm not going to say anything bad about these guys, as they're the only ones who wouldn't kill me on the spot if I was an opposing civilian.
They enjoy being a human for those sick gamer clips and kill montages. While they're having good luck, they'll tell anyone that they have a skill issue if they can't do such simple feats as killing every single CI in the building one by one, alone, while being chased by every SCP and 079.
When they start having bad luck again like the rest of us normies, that's when the game is broken and they're uninstalling, only to reinstall and pledge allegiance to Northwood by spending $30 for a 3 day long test showcasing the ability to crouch.
Scps suck though, Im not a fan of playing scps because I never have the same moments that I have when I play human.
But yeah, removing voice chat would kill the game instantly
(please help im being held on gunpoint by hubert mozs-
Like, I played a little bit of 13.0 when it launched, but I was getting angry and set off by stuff like 106 and 914, so aside from like 10 minutes attempts of playing, I wasn't really playing SL.
Fast foward to yesterday and today and I had a blast from my like 5 hour sessions on both days.
For example, when I got lunged by 939, instead of going "Oh, you motherf#cker! Door camper...", I went "Jesus Christ that made me jump. That was awesome!"
