Reminder: remove 096

It is imperative to remove 096 to restore the "fun" that SCP: Secret Laboratory is known for.

This will mitigate several problems, such as:

Instantaneous death with zero ability to strike back.

Camping.

Looking at the floor for any other reason than to pick something up or cry as your life begins to fade.

Not being able to play the game.

And anything else that forum users would wish to add as a way of replying to an otherwise complete and no-nonsense article designed for the [BRILLIANT] [TALENTED] [SOCIABLE] minds at Northwood.

096's trigger box was detected through a closed door. Its enraged screams were also incapable of reaching two hallways, making it impossible for the poster to see or hear it coming, or even expect its head to stick through the door.

Of course, how could I be so foolish to look at a bare, totally normal door 0.2 seconds before 096's face magically transported itself through the solid material, making me see its face, a solid 2 seconds before it managed to break the door down.

Wake up honey, it's time for the monthly "remove 096" thread

I played the Patreon beta for Mimicry since it was available, and it was fun as ♥♥♥♥ to play without 096. Being able to look forward helped the gameplay experience so much. That's why I think that (warning: controversial) 096's replacement should be prioritized over the "map rework"

Y'know what, I agree. As terrible as the level design is, at least you can work with it and around it. But 096? It is just plain BS. It's not fun to fight and only serves to kill people for playing the game right and force more people to retreat and likely camp surface.

Maybe make him more like the old 096?Remove the hume shield,give him higher screams and remove his legal wallhacks.

maybe just give a really slight buildup to looking at 096's face? Like, maybe only half a second or so, you look at his face and a violin slowly builds up, if you don't look away in time 096 gets enraged but if you do he doesn't get enraged, but your position is still shown to him through walls for like 15 seconds

I don't think anyone's arguing that 096 is overpowered
It's that his design conflicts with several factors in the game making him a less fitting SCP than he should be
