Maybe fix key card stealing ?
It is so annoying everytime D class steal cards and we can't play the game in any way. Can't you just add something like people can't take your card for 30 seconds when dropped or something like this.

I think there needs to be more escape options for d class. vents or something. teleport escape SCP. I don't know. All games go the same way currnetly. Go to upgade room. hide. wait to get rescued or shot.

90% of the time NTF get their 1st (not sure why yet) and d class get reked.

only way i have found to space it up is find the exit, hide close by and way for someone to open it, hopeing to god they don't see my ass as i run through before it closes. then... I usually get shot by NTF.

SCP-914 is supposed to kill people who go in it though. If it did that then anyone would still have a chance to take a keycard, but they'd have to wait until the doors open.

It'd just deter people from camping inside the output while waiting for the card to appear.

I really can't see what needs to be fixed. Either have 2 keycards in case 1 gets stolen or find a gun. If you can't find either of those then tough luck.

The only thing that needs fixing is people surviving in the output chamber.

honestly if you have trouble shaking the mindless masses of d class you deserve having your card stolen
close doors behind you. i've lost multiple scps, squads of ci, 10+ d class and multtiple groups of ntf justt by closing doors behind me

Mindless but usefull, which also applies to Scientists. Most People dont realise that the entire escape is easier if you have a bunch of people around. And thats one of the reasons why i almost never attempt to steal cards or shake people of that follow me.
Its all about Teamplay after all and the best Rounds are those, where people actually working together to achive something, if its getting the old Man recontained or some people create a distraction for the NTF so that the others can run away unnoticed.
Sure all that stealing is annyoing, but i would say only tryhards and stupid people do it. I saw alot of those dieing at the entrance Zone or after reaching the surface and that means a lot.

Since it's relevant to this discussion, how about killing people who sit in the Input/Output section when it's activated? Alternatively, make it not activate if there's people in the input/output rooms

That's actually put into the Trello.

Easy fix, if you ask me.

Only on input, but we have to stick some heads together and figure out what does what exactly and do some factchecking on what happens in CB, and see if we can't come up with something unique or whether the way CB approached it was the right way to go.

It doesn't matter what you are. even if your another class-D, You'll probably have your keycard taken by another class-D, and all it does is ruin the game. You might as well end up uninstlaling the game instead of trying to get out of light containment.

There is usually a pistol in light containment that isnt in the armory, go find that.
Chances are, most servers dont have friendly fire enabled, and when they do, your probably only to get slaughtered at the start of the round because of some stupid meme kid.

TIP: Try to not get inside in 914 input room, there is 1:1 chance of getting switch in coarse and turning you as D Class by trolling or if you are getting take too long for a while.

you have no choice but to cooperate with them or you can be one of them by changing yourself into a Dboi with 914.
if you managed to find another keycard beside what you already have, don't drop both of them. only upgrade one of your keycards.
if you found a zone manager keycard, escape immediately. there's a high chance that MTFs will find you.

This is a serverside thing, in a normal server this doesn't happen as far as I know.
