Hip-fire is underrated
Ever since the new guns came out most people have been specialising their guns for ADS, I even heard a guy say “hip-fire is trash”. I understand that’s it’s not good at long range but having good hip-fire on your gun is such an important stat no matter what class you are.

Whenever I’m MTF I always go for lightweight stock, short barrel and laser sight on my epsilon. Being able to run and shoot at the same time is extremely helpful and generally allows you to do more consistent damage to scp’s as you won’t be forced to pick between running or dealing damage, you can do both.

In human PvP, It’s pretty much an automatic win in any close-medium range fight against an ADS user. Whilst your opponent wastes time ads’ing you can immediately start shooting whilst strafing left and right whilst your opponent grinds to a halt, free headshots pretty much. Just remember not to jump as your hip-fire accuracy midair is terrible.

Of course having a second gun better suited for long range is advisable but if you only have one weapon having good hip-fire will save you way more than an ADS gun would, atleast in my experience.

hipfire build 2 op

Yep, but still one should not run and gun, rather stopping firing a quick burst and moving again. Unless you're litterally in each others' barrels.

Nah I disagree, hipfire run and gun is absolutely the best way to go on every gun except pistols and the revolver. The only time you should ever use an ads build is if you’re camping against a spawn wave.

My E11 and Vector can easily hit a target in the head while running and you only need two headshots to kill them

Yeah sometime even if you shoot with ads you can't shot the target tried with hip fire more easier for every gun, Idk but when you do sight shooting it can lag freeze drop fps etc

i put a laser on every gun, and make them focused on running and gunning. my epsilon shreds enemies, with muzzle booster, riflebody to negate firerate decrease, but get the extra dmg and armor pen, i got AP ammo, light stock, and a flashlight and laser sight. if scopes worked for me id use a scope too if i really needed too, but for now i just use irons on all the guns

i dont know why alot of people are agaisnt builds like these, like how it was in the previous update. run and gun builds can shred lots of enemies at once and are quite trolling

man even fighting people with aks/ e11s, jumping (and sprinting) towards them, strafing, and
firing bursts will almost always make them either retreat, or die. if they retreat you can still get them quite easily, even with heavy armor, builds like mine aboulutely destroys them with 95 armor penatration and 27 damage.

you should not be able to fire your gun unless you are ADSing

I have never in my life, heard words more bewildering and outright stupid, than the ones you have just uttered. Congratulations

Y'know, this thread's gotten me interested to try out a solely hipfire setup. Lightweight everything, eh. I'm a bit of a mix between the ADS fan and the hipfire fan. I like to run and gun, but planting myself somewhere and waiting for my enemy to walk into me also works quite well.

It's all about preference, but I may have severely underrated the hipfire options available.

On the topic, is a no-stock Crossvec any good because I have not gotten a single kill without the stock.

You could try the ak, no stock, no HB and laser sight. Could be an intresting build

I once found an AK with no stock.

This Chaos guy died right in front of me, trying to fight off an MTF while I jumped around like an idiot in terror. I finally finished loading my FSP-9 and gunned down the slightly weakened MTF.

I picked up the AK. After all, I was running out of 9mm and this guy had lots of 7.62. I didn't realise it had no stock until I ran onto the stairwell and tried aiming down sights to kill two MTF. I didn't ADS, and, confused, I took a whole second to start shooting, but none of the bullets connected and I was quite pissed.
