I think I found out why the foundation kills everyone in SCP-5000

alright I don't know why the entity or parasite wanted to do this. But when the SCP foundation finds out about the entity they see all the horrors that happen during their destruction of mankind.

They don't know why but all they know is that they need to eradicate this thing at all costs. The entity drives them to. Something is strange because when Samuel Ross is being interrogated he tells the GOC about the truth. And the entity kills them there. Why wouldn't the entity have killed the foundation personnel when they found out about them. I don't know but the thing isn't exactly a human. I'd imagine the entity would have a eye on the foundation at all times. So it would definitely know something is up. Even after they've been cured it could've just sent in Alpha-1 or Tau-5 to go awol and eradicate the infected personnel.

When Wilson reaches SCP 579 with SCP 055 or whatever it is he doesn't change the timeline where the foundation doesn't find out about the entity. It only loops the timeline in which the events occur indefinitely. Or maybe until the entity grows bored. Even though its also possible the entities memory is wiped so it just loops forever.

Thats... terrifying...

The thought of a inevitable horrible fate of all time is absolutely terrifying. Its almost as terrifying as what happens after "because we don't know what death is like." It's like knowing for fact that all humanity will be tortured and executed within the next 5 years by martians. "it wont" You get the point

Yeah i've seen that before. But I think the timeline literally resets. It loops and it'll be like that forever. That was what the foundation saw. Civilization being agonizingly destroyed. The entity tricked the foundation. This was all intended and this is how it will be.

But yeah I can see the other side of what the entity plans to do to humanity if the timeline resets but the event doesn't happen
